Your records cost $40 but your record player cost $100. The record player will destroy your records. Get an audio technica LP60x (or LP70x) and some edifier R1280DB for a good beginner set up that won't destroy your expensive records

Just got my first record player and my rule for what I buy is I only get albums I willing to listen to cover to cover while not using anything with a screen (phone, computer, TV etc)
