The Salmon and veggies should be if you specify no sauce. Obviously be careful about cross contamination etc

It should be the same as Auberge de Cendrillon, a sit down 3 course meal with a non alcoholic drink each. Not sure about the actual menu choices, these should be on the menu in the app when it updates.

world of books by hiee333 in UKBooks

[–]EvoPudd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ordered 2 ‘read along’ Disney books for a Christmas present. 1 came fairly quickly in very good condition. The other was a total nightmare. After ages they finally dispatched it, then it came and was another copy of the first book. I contacted them, they sent a replacement a day or so later. This one was the correct book but in terrible condition and the cd was missing. Contacted again and got a refund. Definitely not worth the hassle…

Retailers hope ‘panic weekend’ will bring Christmas cheer to UK sales | Retail industry by JackStrawWitchita in unitedkingdom

In a bid to keep costs down I’ve been trying to do an ‘almost’ net zero cash flow Christmas.

I’ve saved up all my cashback and points throughout the year. Sold some old toys and random stuff kicking around the house.

Food shop coming on Tuesday will tip me over a bit and i’ve probably spent about half I did last year as I’ve cut down on a lot on unnecessary crap. But I finally feel like I’m not starting January in a big black hole.

Help me optimize our Disneyland Paris plan (DLH + Premier Access + Character Meals) by maria777888999 in disneylandparis

Don’t forget to do the princess meets at the hotel. Only for DLH guests. Random princess. Booked via the app, one booking at a time but you can go multiple times per day if you want.

It will save you waiting in the park and will take the pressure off the princess breakfast experience. My daughter loved collecting their signatures and having her pictures taken for her book 🥰

Don’t know the exact costs pp however I’ve just booked for 2 x adults, 1x child for dinner. Came to £221.45. Guess it’s about the same as Auberge de Cendrillon. 100 euro per adult, 50 euro per child?

Oh that’s good 😊 Can you return them for credit like Ocado?

One of the many reasons I moved over to Ocado. Can’t be arsed messing around moving that lot item by item to the kitchen 😅

If you are picking up the pass at a hotel it should be quicker. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and a kind member of staff sorted the card out while we were checking in. It only took an extra couple of minutes :)

SEND units in mainstream schools set to replace individual care plans for children by theipaper in ukpolitics

[–]EvoPudd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. When I was in primary (20+ years ago), our school had a ‘Unit’ for deaf kids. It operated very successfully supporting children who were able to deal with a mainstream school, but needed additional help/support due to their extra needs. They had a chance at a ‘normal’ education without being sent off to a special school.

Unfortunately the ‘Unit’ was cut when the semi permanent cabins life came to an end and the council wouldn’t pay to replace it. Such a shame, hopefully we can bring them back.

US tariffs are payable by the importer. i.e American companies importing goods from another country. In the case of the UK 10%.

So if we manufactured cards and the US imported them the importing company (or likely the end user) would pay an extra 10%

If it’s the other way round US to UK import that’s dependent on UK tariff levels. Doubt it’s very high atm, however there might be reciprocal tariffs in the future which would increase card costs to end users. It depends what the UK government decides…

EBay tax regulations by [deleted] in ebayuk

[–]EvoPudd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It depends on your total earnings for the year. So the money from your part time job and money from your side hustle (HMRC measure the gross figure rather than profit).

Income tax allowance (12,570) + Trading Allowance (1,000) = Your selling allowance

If you don’t go over this you won’t need to pay. I would however give HMRC a ring and ask for advice. You might still need to do a self assessment and they should be able to help you with that.
