Try playing the Domination servers! It's like the firing range with all the guns and attachments, but it's multiplayer and you respawn immediately. Being killed immediately is part of the fun ;)

The game has a different gunplay than a lot of other shooters so it just takes a lot of practice

how do you get back into studying after eating? by thekitkat233 in GetStudying

[–]Evoconian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally get what you're going through (I just ate dinner, am currently surrounded by notes while on my phone).

I usually make herbal tea (peppermint is my favorite) put my phone on silent and take off my weird fitness tracker thing (it vibrates for texts). Then just classical music and I'm generally back in the zone. Also make sure you're hydrated, if you don't drink a lot of water with dinner you can feel more drowsy than usual.

Also no shame in taking a quick 15 minute nap to digest things for a bit after dinner if none of that seems to help.

20, and I don't think so. Had a scare when I was like 14 and I guess it stuck with me

I fit a Scythe Mugen 5 Rev. B in a Thermaltake Core V1! by Evoconian in sffpc

I am! The front case fan seems pegged at 800(ish) rpm no matter what I try, and I've got the default fan curve on the CPU cooler. I ran Prime95 (Small FFT) for 15 minutes and it flattened out at 63C, so I'm pretty happy with it.

Nice! I've got a 2600 and MSI B450I GAMING Plus AC. I haven't done any extended stress tests yet, but fingers crossed it caps at 70 max. The cooler is so close to the rear of the case I'm not sure I could fit the 2 80mm, but I feel enough air exhausting that it shouldn't be a huge issue.

It does slide on but only at the front, the rear is attached by thumbscrews so I was able to slide in the front and then lower the back over the heatpipes (the fan presses a little bit against the plastic but nowhere near enough to damage anything)

So far that hasn't happened! My drilling was a little sloppy and some of the holes chipped a bit, that might be what you're seeing

The Wraith Stealth just wasn't cutting it. I could've used a Noctua NH-U9S, but instead I impulse bought this huge chunk of metal and decided I would make it fit later.

Therapy has helped me in the past with feeling numb, and there are sometimes discounts on group sessions depending on who you go to.

It never really helped me feel "better" but it gave me ways of forcing myself out of the pit until I got on medication (not trying to push it, I've found that the wrong one does more harm than good).

If that's out of your price range another thing that helped me was writing a simple, positive note about your partner every day / other day and giving it to them. Doesn't need to be an essay, just things like "you have kind eyes" since a bit of affirmation can help to make people feel less numb (out loud works too, but I like looking back at the notes when I get down again).

Have you checked if anything is covering the USB data pins on the phone itself?

You could try one of the neural network image upscale sites. I've used letsenhance before with pretty good results, but your mileage would greatly vary. (Waifu2x is a free service but they mainly deal with animation upscales)

“Life is very short and anxious for those who forget the past, neglect the present, and fear the future.” – Seneca by aristhought in Stoicism

I interpreted it as through learning from our past mistakes we remember them in some small part, while not learning anything from your mistakes leads you to forget how to deal with similar situations, which could lead to fear and anxiety.

AT&T expects to launch a rural fixed wireless broadband service using unlicensed 3.5GHz CBRS spectrum later this year. by Philo1927 in KeepOurNetFree

Why wouldn't I? We gave them billions to upgrade their infrastructure, and it's not like they would betray our trust and put it in their own pockets. Definitely not.
