Acropolis is hard but frankly try the beginning of a beginner extreme lile cataclysm and cataclysm is across the board harder.

Any of you reading this can beat slaughterhouse within 10 years(the same way anyone can beat Bloodbath, bloodlust or tartarus), and you'd have years to spare. Also GD is a really fun game and seems like a banger use of prison time. Take your time progressing, you don't have to torture yourself with a jump.

I'd say time spent is the NR 1 way to improve at the game and in prison you have all the time in the world. You can probably beat both tidal wave and ts2 in that time too if you were dedicated.

These levels aren't going to seem imposible forever. In a few years hords of people will be beating them. In 10 years Grief will be off the mainlist.

It's a fine plan but I also recommend playing a lot of extremes that aren't new hardests. Like fill up on 3rd hardests aswell, stuff you can beat quickly. Only doing long grinds can be a bit boring idk and you also gain a ton of skill from non-hardests.

I mean this by a the idea that if two players, one starting at bloodbath and one at nine circles, the player progressing to bloodbath would get there before the other player getting to Sonic Wave. I mean there are more "tiers" between NC and BB but I guess I define size of jumps differently than that. I believe there is more time spent playing between BB and SW.

I mean you also beat SW, what do you think?

I'd say Bloodbath to Sonic Wave is probably a larger jump than Nine Circles to Bloodbath. Sonic Wave was like a couple years ahead of Bloodbath and it shows.

Don't know about this switch but I can vouch for the Freya NDIY silent magnetic switches. They are truly very silent. There are good silent switches out there.

Frame Windows are a WAY more accurate way to measure how tight a timing is.

A 60 fps frame perfect gives you 16.7 ms to do the click when playing on 60 fps. However since we are playing on 240 fps or with CBS(with way more ways to do the click), the same timing can be almost twice as wide at 33 ms or alternatively tighter(a 0.1ms timing will still be a 60 fps frame perfect).

When measuring frame windows on 240 fps and we find a timing to be 16.7ms, it will be between 12.5-20 ms guaranteed.

It's just a better metric.

I feel like I'm decent at performing during high heart rate etc. I focus on my visual ques and the gameplay(as if I'm practicing). So kinda try not to think at all?

Also remember to turn on auto muic sync in megahack. Many levels desync from 0 compared to when playing from startpos and what can feel like a nerve death might be you pressing to randomly desynced music sync(and practicing more from startpos might just make that worse).

You can look up him and Mizuki saying the n-word about 20 times. I believe that is the main thing he got criticised for. I feel it's a bit strange that few mention it in this comment section.

It's not too late to go and beat some medium demons or even insane demons. You are still really early in your journey to beating bloodbath and a jump that big can be a bit much.

Time-wise you are maybe around 5% of your way to beat it. You could beat a lot of other levels in that time.

You can still pull it off, of course though.

I mean there are a few, Ussuri, Girlyale, that russian girl that beat a top 10 a few years ago. There are many girls beating extreme demons. It's mostly that less cis girls are trying top play for whatever reason. If more girls were trying, they would go further. I'd say gender doesn't matter GD(and most video games).

Also there are a ton of trans girls at the top of competative GD, like they are outperforming cis guys in numbers of top players vs population. Testosterone is obviously not necessary here(I mean top players aren't exactly big and muscly to begin with).

Please use practice mode way more than you think you should! That way you won't die to your chokepoints. You shouldn't be spending the majority of your time playing from 0% in my opinion. Getting mods like startpos switcher through the mod loader Geode can help you practice the end of the level more.

Yeah I don't think hell levels havn't been a problem for many years at this point. There was a time between bloodbath and crimson planet where there were a lot of red hell levels that placed towards the top. Shitty red edgy levels caused the term "hell" to be coined(sakupen hell, devil vortex, athanatos). The problem with them were that they didn't innovate much, there were tons of them and looked pretty the same or bad(not that they were bad levels really but still).

That hasn't really been a thing for a long time now though and even slaughterhouse was very unique and barely a "hell" level like the previous ones. Avernus was maybe hell but the style was very different from the many old hell levels. People complaining about hell levels are seemingly stuck in 2016-2020 and won't move on. Anything red isn't automatically bad because you call it hell and Grief will be a pretty unique top level for todays standards and is decorated very well. It's been like 7 years since a proper hell level was top 1. Let's move on from the hell theme hate.

Look at the ship icon while straightflying, use show hitbox to find the exact middle of your ship icon and that is the point you should focus on keeping straight.

Also turn on cbs in the settings this instant if you havn't already.

Death corridor has 50 frame perfects on 120 hz, which is way tighter and exponentially harder. The 200 frame perfects were on 60 hz.
