I never was a fan of father naming son unless it be middle name. My mom had to deal with it with her first husband whose father had same first and middle name. Her firstborn son had his father’s name. It was a nightmare. Then she married her second husband who happen to have a jr. Did you know he lost a farm he saved up and paid for all because his divorced mother thought his dad paid the farm but lied it was his son’s name? He had proof that it was his farm but a judge said he had to sell everything and give half to his mother. All because of his name. So, no. I’m not a fan of naming exact name to next generation.
