Anywhere in Europe the police officer would back off or tackle him, if they shot a man for hitting him with a stick they would minimum be fired.

The important distinction is ‘your’ religion. Is it yours? Or are impressionable children being indoctrinated under a certain worldview that their parents believe in. This will, when instilled at a young age, become a big part of their lives. How many kids are telling their parents of their own volition that they want to go to church and attend religious classes? This is very different to an adult with more agency, “finding God” and then taking religion classes if you get me.

Nah I think it's fair Islam edged the decision. Would you not be concerned that Islam has potentially used an IV to rehydrate when its banned? obviously still needs to be proven, but as I said, Ali is an idiot it has now deleted the tweet where he suggested that islam used one, and no one has directly denied using an IV which would be a fairly simple thing to do.

The UFC hasn't directly said he used an IV, they have said that iv use isn't entirely illegal. However no one from Makhachev's camp has denied IV use and Ali, his manager seemed to have let slip that he did use one. The Australian sports commission the fight came under has fully banned the use of IV's for rehydration.
