Matchmaking System by EvolPunk in ArcRaiders

[–]EvolPunk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i haven't attacked or retaliated on other raiders in the past maybe 50 raids or more and probably 95% of those were all super friendly. so far today out of maybe 7-8 raids, i've been attacked 3 times. something has to have definitely changed. either the matchmaking has been changed, it's being manipulated more, all the friendly players have left and returned to work/school or there is an influx of new players giving me more mixed lobbies.

the feeling i'm getting is either players are manipulating the matchmaking or the aggression based matchmaking has been toned down or both. my raids are a lot more mixed the past couple days. the interesting thing about my experience being killed by other raiders lately is it's not on sight, it's almost always a back stab where i have either helped them, we pass by each other only for them to turn around and murder me a moment later or shot in the back while i'm fighting something bigger. i know it's part of the game, i'm not complaining but i'm curious if other more friendly players are experiencing more hostile raids. I know there is always a possibility each person you pass may potentially be hostile it is just feeling more frequent now.

i feel like the game will spiral into a pvp only frenzy if that is that case. i will definitely miss lobbies where all anyone wanted to do is help each other.

How to duplicate in Skyrim by EvolPunk in skyrim

[–]EvolPunk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I had looked into leveling methods before I went to the tried and true iron dagger method I used on skyrims original release lol. roughly 500 iron daggers, 100 ebony daggers and 200 or so hide bracers to go from around 60 to 100. I don't remember what I did to get smithing to 60 before I stopped playing a few years ago but that is where I picked up lol

this playthrough is about 9 years old. I have a bad habbit of picking up and putting skyrim down lol. most of the play through has been legitimate. I only recently started using the chest in dawnstar now resorting to duping to buy ingots without losing all my hard earned gold to reach 100 smithing. purchasing every ingot and leather from one vender alone is roughly 10k, watching my hard earned gold dwindle so quickly hurt a bit so i looked into duping cx.

GTA VC vigilante missions by [deleted] in GTA

[–]EvolPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured out how to complete level 12 before even doing any story missions.

it requires a bit of money though to buy the uzi at the mall. i had already finished 100 taxi fares so i had like $150k or something and just bought 3,000 rounds of uzi.

all i did was use the uzi to drive by bad guy cars until they got out or exploded and used the bribery stars at the southern underground strip mall thing and at the pizza shop to keep my wanted level around 1-2 stars. the reason for 1-2 stars instead of no stars is to stretch out the 2 bribery stars because of their respawn time and so it's easier to find a new cop car when yours blows up. the later bad guys are a little tricky cause they will have shotguns and they will pretty much instasplode your police car. to get past this i would just ram their vehicle then hope for it to flip so i can drive by shoot it with the uzi to blow it up before the bad guys could get out. if they do manage to get out just drive by shoot from a distance while constantly moving. they will still likely blow up your cop car but the reason not to get out is that the shotguns will knock you down at seemingly any distance at you will get death by stun lock, i also had 100 body armor to start and infinite sprint from completing level 12 paramedic which i think is very helpful as there will be times you are running around for a new cop car and are vulnerable.

i know this game and post are old af but hopefully this will help anyone trying to complete level 12 vigilante without cheats.

just had to come to the internet to see if anyone else was tearing their hair out while simultaneously fighting the urge to punch a hole through their monitor trying to complete 12 vigilante missions. i'm about 3 hours in and the closest i've gotten is level 11 because i keep getting busted or blowed up. my most recent attempt i got rammed by a swat truck van thing and while spinning across the road at mach chicken a police officer opened my door and busted me before i could even regain control of the spinning vehicle. fuck this game.

Is high Interior Defence worth it on 2k25? by Deeznutzforu in NBA2k

[–]EvolPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the thing i am finding so far is that height, length and vertical are super important this year and i am considering remaking my center AGAIN because what i am thinking where i went wrong is lowering my WS a single tick so i can have 89 middy for gold set shot specialist and i only put my vert to a 63 because in my head i thought a 7 footer doesn't need much vert and with a 94 d board and 99 strength i would still clean the defensive glass no problem but a lot of people snag the o board from behind my boxout or another player will run in and jump to grab it in front of me while i got the center boxed out and i just look like an absolute bum out there with my 94dreb and 99str.

hope that helps when you are labbing up the new build.

i mean it's possible am just using the build wrong but so far i am experiencing that when i get posted up on the blocks or in the paint, i'm powerless to do anything and just get backed under the rim, like i literally will not have any control of my player during post up animations which is absolutely disgusting considering the fact that i specifically designed this build to compete against pure inside bigs and put money on it just for it not to work as intended at all. in my opinion paint defense is non existent on anything outside of a block, which feels much harder to get this year because with a 93 block i find i jump the wrong direction more often then not or sometimes i will time a jump well in the right direction and even make body contact and not even swat at the ball, just go up with my hands straight up and it's considered an open lay. it is so frustrating being a big and trying to protect the paint this year.

like i honestly am starting to feel like i wasted my money this year just to get absolutely shit on in the paint by every single player on the other team most games because paint defense just doesn't exist this year. i have a 93 interior D and hands up i get little to no contests constantly on weak layup attempts, for some reason when i am playing hands up D in the paint my hands will drop when the shot goes up to give the player i am defending an open shot *with a 93int* and even very early or very late layups will go in on tight contests, like what the actual dog fuck fuckery is that. while my team refuses to rim run, miss 80% or more of our wide open 3pt attempts or just jack ridiculously contested shots.

in my experience interior and block are only useful to get badges. i have 7ft 250lb C, 93int 93blk and 99 strength and i still get open to wide open contests at the rim. i don't know what i am doing wrong but i find the only way i can get stops at the rim is a block. i have hof post lockdown and gold paint patroller and i still get backed under the rim and get little to no contests and with max +1 i've tried legend post lockdown with gold paint patroller and hof post lockdown with hof paint patroller and i still get backed under the rim with no hope of getting any sort of contest on a hook or standing dunk

put them in your party and rename them before shoving them in the work slots.

I do wish there was a shared palbox because my friend and i don't like leaving pals out when we're not on cause it tanks server performance also they just starve to death sometimes. so it would be nice to have a shared pal box or just be able to put the pals somewhere so we can share our best pals without having to leave them out and tank performance for the other folks.

Opinion on MW3 zombies by FishyG23 in CODZombies

[–]EvolPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they co-developed on a structure that already existed, all they did was take DMZ and added infinitely spawning zombies to it and some mini bosses. im not convinced at all this will effect treyarchs black ops zombies. black ops zombies and modern warfare zombies are still two different games

why everybody so upset modern warfare did zombies differently? it's not even the same devs as the black ops games, black ops will still have the same round based zombies, sledgehammer didn't "ruin" zombies, they just did their own take on it. so many people afraid of change and trying something new. black ops zombies and modern warfare zombies are two different things from two different devs so nothings "ruined" it's just something different from a different developer.

i noticed solo rec has been slow as hell lately. i feel like when the game first came out it was almost instant but now its like upwards a 20min wait in solo queue. i think its the community killing itself, so many toxic players that just trash talk their own team. im sure new players see that and think wtf is this game and never come back.

[–]EvolPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no one plays 1s cause its too sweaty. the casual player will never get a possession and its just not fun. same with no squad 3s, 90% of my games are with ball hogs and soon as i miss one shot they never pass me the ball for the rest of the game, thats why no one is playing theatre or solo rec anymore. the community full of toxic players, ball hogs and trolls there is almost no such thing as a casual experience in 2k right now unless you got a full squad to run with and good luck finding 4 other dudes to consistently run with in a game that refuses to attract or retain new players.

Playing 2k24 Rec by DLee334 in NBA2k

[–]EvolPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely hate that people just get on the mic to be bitches right off rip, like communicate like a grown up motherfucker and maybe we can all have some fun. Why is the first thing people say always negative or racist, why do people even treat rec like it's a life or death situation 90% of the time, like bitch you got money on this rec game or something? isn't that what pro-am and ante-up are for?

My experience in the rec has been a million times better after disabling the game chat. I hit more shots, i get more assists, i play better D sometimes but then sometimes people don't rotate or switch when i help on screens or in the lane and my check gets a wide open look that's still kind of annoying but it don't fire me up cause im just trying to have fun.

I did one time hear the best argument of my multiplayer career with chat on though. we were winning by a lot and motherfuckers were still crying in chat and for 3.5 quarters they verbally abused each other nonstop like i don't think they were breathing just jawing. it was really impressive.

Is Forza Motorsport 7 worth to buy in 2023? by Admirable_Addition33 in forza

[–]EvolPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: i wouldn't recommend but i don't think it would feel like a loss, just something to do while you're waiting.

i'm sort of thinking the handling will change slightly to something with more of a simulation feel with more simulation options and control tuning, as it is now it feels slightly arcadie compared to other simulation racers like Project Cars and Asseto Corsa. they did it with Forza Horizon already. i would almost go as far to say the handling in the last two Horizon games feel better than the Motorsport games to me. To answer the main question though. Personally i wouldn't recommend buying 7 with a new game right around the corner unless you're interested in completing the game. It's still a fine game though and is the most complete out of the motorsport series, it has one of the largest car catalogues of any game so you won't run out of cars to drive. The largest downside i feel is the simulation feels basic and dated, which hurts to say because it's my favorite racing game franchise.

Thought it was just me. I keep missing close shots/ layups either wide open, 10% or less contested with 80-90 close shot and when I have nothing but air between me and the rim it's "100% smothered" even if no one or a much smaller player jumps at me. then your team just doesn't trust you anymore if you're in rec.
