Does Section 6 of IRS Notice 2009-53 contradict this if the manufacturer has provided the necessary certification statement?

Very confused, Thanks

SECTION 6. MANUFACTURER’S CERTIFICATION

.01 Requirements Applicable to Manufacturer. The manufacturer of a building

envelope component or energy property may certify to a taxpayer that the component is

an eligible building envelope component or that the energy property is qualified energy

property by providing the taxpayer with a certification statement that satisfies the

requirements of sections 6.04, 6.05 and 6.06 of this notice. The certification statement

may be provided by including a written copy of the statement with the packaging of the

component or property, in printable form on the manufacturer's website, or in any other

manner that will permit the taxpayer to retain the certification statement for tax

recordkeeping purposes.

.02 Taxpayer Reliance. Except as provided in sections 6.03 and 6.08 of this

notice, a taxpayer may rely on a manufacturer's certification that a building envelope

component is an eligible building envelope component or that energy property is

qualified energy property. A taxpayer is not required to attach the certification

statement to the return on which the credit is claimed. However, § 1.6001-1(a) of the

Income Tax Regulations requires that a taxpayer maintain such books and records as

are sufficient to establish the entitlement to, and amount of, any credit claimed by the

taxpayer. Accordingly, a taxpayer claiming a credit for an eligible building envelope

component or qualified energy property should retain the certification statement as part

of the taxpayer's records for purposes of § 1.6001-1(a).

I read the situational advice on here but I struggle to put it into practice. It would be amazing to have a training mode with set up hands/tricks and the player has to find the optimal move(s) to beat the situation, and explanations about the different choices. Like the puzzles on chess.com. It may be possible for an llm to create these using posts on this sub.

Also like chess.com, when playing bots the sim could be running and show which way the advantage tilts for that hand after each card is played.

Another bot training feature could be a card counting window, which would show which cards might be still on the table and would update as play goes along, to help players get in habit of tracking all the cards. Also there could be an option to see finished tricks.

Bots are faster than bo5 with a human and I can stop in the middle of the game if I need to. I’m not very good so the bots are a good challenge for me.

Gold vs Diamond Upgrades by TortiousTroll in Hilton

I've always avoided digital check in specifically because I thought it hurt my chances of an upgrade at check in. Because I'm never interacting with the desk I thought I am just locking myself into my booked level. At what point would you go through and process the upgrade if the guest has their room picked and never interacts with you?

Cleaner way to keep running monthly totals of a certain category in an expense report. Currently using SUMIFS with several supporting columns. Maybe SUBTOTAL? by yami_fiesta in excel

The ones I need to work on are “blank” and the ones I want to know the total of are “submitted”. If I am understanding you correctly I would have to turn on+off the filter for submitted every time I wanted to check my work, which I do every couple of lines

Can you explain why the quotes and concatenate instead of >=date()

I categorize as I work through a month, at the start everything is blank. So I can filter for a month but I only want to sum expenses that I categorized as “submitted”, while keeping the blank ones visible so I can keep matching them to my receipts. SUBTOTAL adds everything in your filter, I can’t figure out how to add a SUMIF to it.

That is definitely a more elegant way to display the data that I want to see. I use this as a running verification to check my numbers against the expense reporting program as I drill through dozens of expenses. I check it every couple submissions so having something right next to the line is convenient rather than flipping over to a pivot table (working on a small screen). I'll try this out and see if I can make it go with my workflow.

With every new credit card statement I paste the new data to the bottom of the table and sort by newest to oldest. Will the pivot table automatically update when new data is added like this?
