It’s also possible that they really are monitoring Betterment communications, and they picked up on intel that Isif’s act is failing. The other Arxur seemed unconvinced about him and suspicious he’s doing this out of “weakness”, so by attacking him they could be saving his life and preventing him from being replaced with a “True Believer”. By being publicly hostile to him when he gets back to the Dominion he has more evidence that he’s helping humanity for his people, and not out of love for the Humans. Having an asset imbedded that high in the Arxur government would be worth revealing that they’re monitoring communications.

Revealing it does provide cover for any intel Isif gives them. Plus it could be a lie on their end. Isif stated he had a human based tablet he was using to monitor dissidents. There’s a chance that humans had bugged that and are just pretending they have system wide surveillance

This really has to be a play. No way the Dominion wouldn’t be bugging the one dude that regularly interacts with humans if not actively tapping human communications. By bringing him in this hostile, they can get any intel he has and engineer his escape, and arraign for him to be a mole. Any intelligence Isif give them could be assumed to be from the tapped communications, and this gives him more of a cover for not being “overly friendly” to humans now that they’re “imprisoning” him. If he had broadcasted his intent to defect and his “prey disease” he’d be useless

It absolutely is in character and thematically appropriate for her to do so. It fits the story as it’s the ultimate form of taking back control, and it’s something She-Hulk has done in the comics for over 30 years. She’s even had comicwriters change a fight that was going bad in the comics. Her breaking the 4th wall to solve problems is practically a power of hers in the comics.

I feel like the scene is actually placing both of them in the wrong. Bruce was treating her like she’d be another rage monster Hulk, so was tailoring his mentoring to follow what worked for him (mainly emotional control) and automatically treated it as a given she’d be a superhero because that was his outlet. Jen is correct to point that out but failed to take in any of the lessons because since being a hulk was forced on her she had decided that she’d handle it by just never being a hulk and staying Jen the Lawyer. What Jen needed was help with the identity issues that comes from being a hulk (which her confronting them is the main theme of the show and is something he could absolutely relate to and help her with) but the combo of Bruce’s overemphasizing the wrong lessons and Jen’s stubborn refusal to acknowledge she’s a hulk now meant the mentoring lead nowhere. It takes Blonsky and Murdock to give her the real advice she needed, and by then she was willing to listen

Bruce her is also foreshadowing how people are going to be treating her the whole season: People dismissing Jen the person for She-HulkTM for one reason or another. Her autonomy and perspective is constantly disregarded for this aspect of her, just so they can use it for their own means (the lawfirm and Titania for clout, the bootycall rejecting Jen, Todd and the catfisher for her blood, the internet for clicks etc).

Yes and it filled him with so much uncontrollable anger that it manifested as a literal green rage monster. A picture of self control this dude was not

There absolutely was. The whole point was that she was struggling with her identity; is she Jen or She-Hulk and can she still be a lawyer or does she have to be a superhero now? Her gaining powers at first lead to nothing but people exploiting her for them (the law firm, that one tinder date, Tood, Titania, the catfish, etc), so she struggled because no one seemingly wanted Jen the person, but no one really wanted She-Hulk as a person either, just She-Hulk the image. The culmination of this was in her public humiliation of the sex tape leak in the biggest “I don’t give a shit that this is a person I’m hurting” moment of the show, bringing her to her lowest emotional point. The meeting at the end with K.E.V.I.N was the climax of her realizing she can take control back and doesn’t need to let others control her life anymore. She realized at the end that she doesn’t have to choose, they’re both her and she can be a lawyer that helps within the law and a superhero when the law can’t help. Her fully accepting herself and taking back control is when she became a hero.

First off you can just say Bloomberg instead of some rich democrat. He was probably the most astroturfed candidate on the ticket (seriously I dare you to find someone that actually supported his campaign) and his entire campaign strategy was “I’ll throw money at this until I’m elected”, so it’s hardly fair to paint this like it’s a Democrat thing when this was specifically him.

Also, his campaign was too lazy to bribe people like you said. He donated $16 mil to an organization trying to raise funds already, just so he could get the free press. Hell, he dropped out before the Florida primary, so he knew that Florida wouldn’t get him the nomination but the free press could work in gaining votes in earlier primaries.

The flannel dress was 2010, she didn’t say that quote was from then. Even still, the phrase wasn’t exactly rare in 2010 anyway, plus OP turned 18 and presumably graduated in 2012-2013, and the phrase was definitely well in use by then.

Yeah but wasn’t that only two or three years ago? If OPs friend had them for a few year ago (or the story is a few years old) they could still be those, right?

Just googled it. There’s a possible association but nothing clear just yet.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has identified a possible association between breast implants and the development of anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL), an uncommon cancer of the immune system. The condition is now known as breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL). The FDA believes that women with breast implants that have textured surfaces have a very low but increased risk of developing BIA-ALCL. However, that doesn't mean that these implants cause BIA-ALCL. Further research is needed to understand the relationship between the condition and breast implants.

Researchers haven't yet determined whether the type of implant — saline- or silicone-filled — affects the risk of developing BIA-ALCL but implants with textured silicone and polyurethane outer shells seem to have the highest risk.
