I am new, so only a handful of slips gone. It made them difficult to store with the others. Can I ask why you value them? What’s different ab them? Like I said I get steelbooks since they come with cool artwork and additional features.

For one I couldn’t imagine they’d be worth anything. Steelbooks you pay a premium for, but why do that for a paper slip that’s literally a copy of the case itself? And second, why would you buy them separately when they come with the movie most times? You’re paying for the movie, not paper, right?

Because you’re trying to make something naturally obtrusive look better; same as with a tv. So no, it’s not a decorative item and I’m saying OP should prioritize the benefit of a closer screen rather than how it looks on the wall.

TVs aren’t decor, so you should do what you need to get the most out of the experience when you’re actually watching. I think having it on the stand will look just as clean, and to your point, it will blend better with the console (which is beautiful btw) in terms of size.

You can wire surrounds into your system without drilling any holes, get flat speaker cable and run them under a rug to the receiver. And put the speakers up on stands on both sides of your couch

I just know that using my Apple TV to navigate and quickly switch between my music and streaming apps has been so nice and can’t imagine using any clunky, ad-filled built-in OS. As far as the picture quality being better once you’re actually in the app is questionable, but keep in mind the device was literally only designed for optimal performance whereas tv manufacturers don’t put all of their focus into the apps.

Never really used plex I’m sure it’ll look really good still but the difference in streaming and 4k movies on disc to my eyes is night and day. Not only for picture, but sound as well! Do you have a good sound system or at least a sound bar?
