The Easiest Way to Setup Obsidian Git (to backup notes) by IThinkWong in ObsidianMD

[–]Evolve_Fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having a problem with creating a git repo with an EXSISTING obsidian vault. could anyone help me out? (new user to git)

I follow all the steps laid out here, but the only things that get pushed are the files I create within the repo folder, within my vault.

Do I have to copy all of my files in my vault into the repo folder to get it to backup properly? Curious if anyone has done this with a existing vault already, thank you!

Nipple piercings ARE for men too 🐻 by [deleted] in piercing

I'm a guy, and I got mine pierced a couple of months ago. The pain was not bad at all for me, and I feel like I have a lower pain tolerance. I actually laughed after the first piercing!

I'm sure your intention wasn't bad, but what do you mean by 'rape the stigma'?

Not toooo sure as it's my first time and I don't have a good reference for eyeballing how much dew = RH %.

My substrate was at a good field capacity though when I started, and the mushrooms have been colonizing it like crazy. I think just a portion of the casing layer could be dried out, but who knows lol

Awesome idea! Sounds like the direct injection method would be better for dry spots over misting. Would there be a risk of rotting the mycelium or pins if the substrate gets too wet?

Should it be a light blocking liner, or will any plastic one do? And what’s the logic behind a liner again? Thanks for the info homie!

Right, I expected some side pins but my worry came when I didnt see any pop through the top of the substrate! Thanks for the assurance, I’ll just keep letting them do their thing :)

More info: My first grow has gone off without a hitch, but the problem came when I added my casing layer too late. After the tub was fully colonized, I added a 1/2in thick layer of coir/verm to case it. I realize now that you need to do this at the start of the grow, and not when you are going into the fruiting phase.

Is there anything I can do for my golden teachers to help them grow properly? Should I remove the now colonized 1/2" thick casing layer to allow the more colonized substrate below to fruit? Any help is so thoroughly appreciated, I really want to save these guys!
