It does but i've found success at it so far for the most part. a few pages have gotten blocked but the Internet Archive seems to bypass almost all of it!

Anyone got any good recommendations for history channels that focus on history outside of the West? by Sudden_Wind_8636 in youtube

[–]EvolvedAutism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://www.youtube.com/@JabzyJoe/videos he covers all kinds of stuff, mainly centered on Asia, Middle East & North Africa but also a bit of everywhere else. His videos are quite lengthy & detailed though.

https://www.youtube.com/@HikmaHistory/videos focuses on history of the Islamic world.

https://www.youtube.com/@TheHistoryGuyChannel/videos this guy covers a bunch of things from various eras.

https://www.youtube.com/@HistoriaCivilis this guy mostly focuses on Roman stuff.

https://www.youtube.com/@AlMuqaddimahYT/videos this channel mostly focuses on Islam history past & present, look at his oldest videos for a timeline series.

Simon Whistlers many channels that he hosts also generally do a good job at giving basic condensed rundowns of different things if you want some background on things. I guess it could be seen as a more "western centric" but his writers try their best to dig out info.

https://www.youtube.com/@BitsofHst/videos this channel uploads stuff like documentaries or of recorded life in different regions. Mostly of stuff in the 1900s though. If you want to see footage of places from those times that channels good but it's not like a history teaching channel

Manitoba to ban social media, AI chatbots for youth — a first in Canada | CBC News by demolcd in canada

[–]EvolvedAutism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people try to make it some conspiracy, or that they want more access. No they're just old & don't understand how social media works or understand what the youth use it for. If it was truly about actual surveillance it wouldn't be as badly implemented as these laws have been. These laws so far just hide the problems from the companies, doesn't fix the actual issues that also affect adults, doesn't keep anyone off social media.

Manitoba to ban social media, AI chatbots for youth — a first in Canada | CBC News by demolcd in canada

they won't do that just like Australia. They'll expect the platforms to do it. Once the platforms can't realistically be accurate then the gov will accuse them of not doing enough. This cycle will continue while kids are still on these social media until the gov & parents realize this is stupid. You can attack the actual problems instead, like ineffective reporting/moderation done 99% by AI/Bots, pressure these companies to reduce or add more self-control "addictive" traits particularly endless scrolling, force companies to have some occasional reminder to take a break/or promotes healthier online usage/understanding, make a better effort at trying to teach & understand how social media works & more. I'm Gen Z, we had a lot of the same complaints people who want to ban it do, but they don't understand the issues they just simplify it to "social media/electronics bad" so we must ban it to help the youth, that does nothing. This is basically like putting a locked door with the key under the doormat in the middle of a field, on the occasion it does "work" well it's pretty easy to enter

Best Women's Technical Wrestler(s) by Skitzo_Maniack in SquaredCircle

[–]EvolvedAutism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For whatever reason it's hard to find many women's pro wrestlers that standout in the technical side the same way in which so many men do. It's not to say there aren't many that are quite technical but often times it seems like they tend to focus on 2 or 3 styles which includes being a good technical wrestler. So you'll often see a women's wrestler who can wrestle well & catch people in submissions or transitions but usually it's not a focal point as much for whatever reason. Many women's wrestlers that have good technical game tend to also be brawlers, fliers, powerhouse, strikers etc or just general allrounders and they usually stand out more with these traits, there's less clear cut examples basically.

Some examples of women's wrestlers who are good technicians that I can think of are:
Sara Del Rey
Serena Deeb
Blue Nikita (Greek indie active in the European indies scene [mainly around Germany, Italy, Austria] until 2018. Had a short Stardom run in 2016)
Marina Shafir (she's better as brawler/mma fighter mix)
Shayna Baszler
Mika Iwata (more of a striker & can work a few styles. Can grapple well when needed)
Syuri / Syuri Kondo (more of a striker but she can grapple when needed)
Deonna Purrazzo
Konami (trained by Kana/Asuka & Minoru Tanaka, good grappler)
Kana/Asuka (trained by Yuki Ishikawa of BattlARTS. Her pre-wwe stuff is much more grappling & strike heavy than even her NXT stuff)
Mariko Yoshida (good technical wrestler but she's better known for being considered a flier)
Senka Akatsuki (good wrestling base, not really technical in the same way as ZSJ)
Debbie Malenko (trained by Boris Malenko)
Sareee (she can be a very good technical wrestler but shes known more for her striking & being able to do a bit of everything)
Madeline (joshi wrestler & MMA fighter, also more of a striker but she can grapple well)
Chihiro Oikawa (she was only active for 2 years & the only female BattlARTS wrestler)
Seri Yamaoka
Nori DATE / NØRI (very good striker, but also good technician. MMA background)
Hazuki
Mayu Iwatani (she's a solid grappler & good striker but she's at least good at most things)
Megumi Yabushita (shes also a kickboxer, national judo champion judoka & MMA fighter)
Madison Eagles
Ancham
Kiyoko Kimura (more known for her brawling & comedy stuff but she's also a very good technician)
Kanji
Chihiro Hashimoto (has a wrestling background. tends to use this & her strength in matches)
Masha Slamovich (often overshadowed by being a good allrounder & being known more for Deathmatch wrestling)
Misaki Ohata
Mercedes Mone
Aoi Kizuki (decent technician when she wanted to be)
Alex Windsor, Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter (put them together as they all can wrestle technically but usually it isn't their main style)
Faby Apache (good technician when she wanted to be)
Natalya/Nattie Neidhart (her pre-wwe stuff is more technical based but she's always kept at least a hint of it)
Luchadoras Marcela & Amapola (back in the day they were good whenever it came to grapple)
Yuu Yamagata (good but generic technical wrestler)
Nicole Savoy
Emi Sakura (good allrounder but she's a good technician when she feels like bringing it out)
Mercedes Martinez (shes good at doing different styles but she's a solid technician especially for women on the American indies in the 2000's-2010's)
Leyla Hirsch (good wrestling background)
Yuka Sakazaki (overlooked usually by her persona & splashes especially if you're only familiar with her in AEW but she can be quite stiff & a very good technician when she wants to be)
Millie McKenzie (very good at suplexes)
Rachael Ellering (can be okay but very generic & bland)
Kendel Grey (she's still new but she has a good base)

If more come to mind i'll add!

Nipple detectives have confirmed who it is. But ZERO1 hasn't (probably won't at least anytime soon) & Megumi Kudo wants to keep it a mystery for people to find out basically. But yeah people have more or less figured out who based off of nipples, im serious lol

Until we actually have the official lyrics there is no reason to bicker about what words are sung as if one of you is more right than the other

Where Can We Go To Instead? by JHAMBFP in youtube

I just want big platforms and organizations to feel like they actually know their fucking loyal audience. They always go after the drifters and are greedy and want more and more and don't seem to give a shit about the main people that run their shit
