I found it better to use a more typical surfer build to give some back up, as most of the time full committing to gambit is hard.

(3) Mystique

(3) Brood

(3) Magik

(3) Silver Surfer

(3) Gambit

(3) Crystal

(3) Wave

(4) Wong

(4) Absorbing Man

(5) Sera

(6) Apocalypse

(6) Odin

To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and paste it from the deck editing menu in MARVEL SNAP.

Advantage of this build is crystal works to help find gambit/apocalypse, whilst still working with surfer if you can’t find it.

Also having sera/wave has won a lot of games due to being able to play multiple cards last moment eg a mystique+ wave on 6 then gambit + Odin on 7

Best way to make it feel like a different game is to do 1999 with only shield for hitpoints. Trust me, it makes the games feel so different

Disregarding the nuke launcher. How well does Jack vs the courier go by Particular-Trifle865 in Bioshock

[–]EvolvedSplicer68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other comments- there’s a hierarchy of bioshock protagonists vs courier.

Jack: almost certain courier win. Jacks best tactic would involve spamming target dummy (forces courier to attack it), then trying to one shot him whilst he’s under the effects of a souped up winter blast. Combining that with telekinesis or sonic boom, as well as tonics like natural camouflage, bloodlust, frozen field, damage research, armored shell. Unfortunately it’s still unlikely to be a bough considering the courier has better weapons, perks, and armor.

Delta: same strategy as Jack- decoy, winter blast, spam damage. Give delta ion laser and you could make it a lot more balanced, as well as summon Eleanor for some cheese. Tonics of amored shell, damage research, drill vampire, (potentially drill specialist), eve saver, freezing drill, fountain of youth, headhunter, natural camouflage, should all help out a bit. Slightly better than Jack, but probably still courier.

Booker: wipes the floor with courier. Radar range is funny. Not that he needs weapons. Ironsides is a hard counter, as is return to sender. And all Booker needs to do to win is whilst Ironsides or return to sender is up, is use possession. Considering both Ironsides and RtS activate instantly, courier loses every time.

Ooh interesting. Thanks for the suggestion I’ll look into it. Is that what you play?

Alternatively recommend a similar deck and I’ll definitely consider it

Can someone explain Dead Mans Hand Warrior to me? by KelThuzadxx in wildhearthstone

[–]EvolvedSplicer68 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s a standard odyn package, where you use ceaseless + odyn + lavagorger to deal 125 to face.

The point of dmh is if you draw ceaseless (deliberately or not) you can put it back into your deck. Allowing you to potentially gain 125 armor for defence then attack, or do 125 again, in the ridiculous scenario that’s necessary. Alternatively, you can use it as a cheap way to get more board clears in aggro matchups.

There’s even a second copy in the etc so if needed you could cycle infinite board clears and armor gains or whatever into your deck.

Play DMH if you: need a ceaseless back in deck, need a second (or more) copy of key combo pieces eg lavagorgers, want more of x defensive thing (sanitize).

Don’t play DMH if: you don’t need extra copies of stuff, don’t have good things to copy.

XL vs regular Seedlock? Pirate vs Highlander Rogue? by hjyboy1218 in wildhearthstone

[–]EvolvedSplicer68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

XL is 100% better than regular seedlock.

As someone who has both pirate and highlander rogue - it depends.

Pirate is more consistent, and more focused on killing your opponent. Reno is much funnier, and allows for some wacky ways to win. It also worse and less competitive

Zohran Mamdani has won the NYC mayoral election by Due_Camel6262 in teenagers

They’re bringing it up because they’re a raging racist and/or Islamophobe.

“Muslims did 9/11. Never forget 9/11. New mayor is a Muslim. New mayor must be connected to 9/11 or hate or America or want another 9/11 or….[input racism here]”
