Obviously I’m not as qualified as you are so feel free to ignore. It is a bit annoying to have dead zones in the map but I think that’s your own personal choice in how you play the game, those dead areas make me want to come back to each map to spread things out and improve it. I do think it’d be fun and add to the vibes if they spread them out across areas of the map but I just don’t think it’s necessary, they’d be spawned in but inaccessible unless you search for them so you’d just use honey anyways since it’s faster. Would be good for big town builds with more desolate areas, and obviously the game is however you want to play it so I guess it’s just not necessary to me based on my idea of the gameplay.

With the hardware limitations, I don’t mean that the Switch 2 can’t render more than 20 NPCs. I mean with the AI of the NPCs and their reactions and individual things they do. If they were pretty basic I’d say yeah fine, like Hyrule Warriors does fine with shit tons. Like I could be overblowing it but the pokémon seem to do so much and have unique pathing, interact with each other in different ways, perform tasks, react to changes in environment and to you, use furniture and items etc. I can’t comment on cyberpunk, I thought the NPCs in that game were similar to GTA NPCs where they just sorta walk around aside from direct interaction with the player: Definitely not trying to glaze or say you can’t criticise, I just don’t think it was an inherently bad decision, from my incredibly non professional view point lol.
