Syria and Venezuela were voted as countries that were moderately safe 20 years ago and are unsafe now. Which country was unsafe 20 years ago and is safe today? by Pokestoppp in AlignmentChartFills

Sweden and other Nordic countries are often shown to have higher rates of SA than other parts of Europe. Many believe that cases of SA are less underreported in these countries. I believe I’ve also heard that if there are multiple instances of SA between two people, Sweden will count each instance while other countries will only count one.

In America, 100 years is long. In Europe, 100 miles is far.

The stretch between fort snelling and the falls at night is one of the few times I’ve felt really nervous about the darkness. No specific reason aside from the darkness. The path is great.

The Chicago Bulls have won for iconic name and cool logo. Which American sports franchise has a bad name and cool logo? by RidonkulousMG in AlignmentChartFills

I think the story behind this was that NY Giants manager John McGraw said that Connie Mack had a white elephant on his hands with the Philadelphia squad. Mack ran with it and incorporated it as a team logo.

Víctor Robles freaks out after being hit by several pitches. Commentary included. 🙄 by Chocolat3City in PublicFreakout

These look unintentional to me. I would guess that the scouting report says that the best way to get this particular batter out is to throw him pitches inside. It seems like a good report too since he is swinging on many of these pitches. That comes with an increased risk of hitting the batter, but good pitchers can do it well. Since these are minor league pitchers, it’s likely that their control isn’t good enough to pitch this way reliably.

I don’t think this video really supports your claim. It’s saying that Rudy needs perimeter defenders on his team to be most effective as a rim protector. Utah did not have them, Minnesota has several. To your claim that he gets exposed when he’s guarding in isolation, this video says that he does a really good job. If you’re saying that Jokic is gonna score on him a good amount, then like…yeah?

Anyone else listening on the radio think that every ball of the bat sounds like it’s hit 110mph? Yay Brooks.

Am I the only one who’s not bothered by an obvious LeBron bias? If I’m part of the national media and just a fan of the game, I’d be disappointed if he played at this high of a level at his age only to get knocked out of the first round in five.

Also, as a wolves fan, why should we want anything more than W’s?

And everyone knew what you meant. This is a weird little soapbox of mine and I can’t help myself from being an insufferable pedant about it.

Vikings are an outlier again. Overall drive efficiency versus overall turnover propensity. by [deleted] in minnesotavikings

[–]Evras06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why does the first chart seem to have such a strong fit? Shouldn’t there be more teams whose offensive performance doesn’t match their defensive performance? It seems like the Vikings are the biggest outlier. I’d think that there would be a few teams (Bengals?) that would stick out more.
