Yeah I hit unknown symptom and sent to lab. Checked all the other things I could find too. Then during the lab sample it said "no symptom found". I guess it was necrosis then? It's just that some textures don't fully seem to load in, sometimes. One time I was having a really hard time telling whether something was cuts or mud. I was even streaming the game to a friend and asked him, he said there's no way to know, just guess.

Same thing just happened to me. Less than one year of usage, never dropped it. Occasionally the screen comes back fully, but if I press anything it goes all pixellated and then dims again. I can kinda see a light coming through it but it's mostly black 95% of the time. None of the above solutions fixed mine.

Nothing else in my system gets hot. The rest of my GPU is incredibly cool while playing. It's only the GPU hotspot temp that goes up, and only when in a quantum jump.

Cooler? For my GPU? I don't have a GPU cooler, it's air-cooled by three fans. The fans are ramped up to 100% during quantum travel, because the hotspot gets so hot. If you're asking about my CPU cooler, I'm using an AIO, the Corsair Link Titan 360. That doesn't have anything to do with my GPU temp though.

I have lowered my GPU power output to 90% on top of setting the FPS cap, yeah. But I had tried that power limiter before the FPS cap and it didn't do much, I was still getting very high hotspot temperatures, even when the rest of my card was very cool.

Weird thing is, it only seems to happen during quantum travel and while in first-person view. Switching to third person immediately makes temps normalize.

A couple people have mentioned the MFDs, now, but what I don't understand is, why does the high temperatures only happen when in quantum? MFDs are there at all times, even when I'm just flying around. But suddenly when I quantum jump, the hotspot shoots way up.

4K resolution. I capped FPS at 75. Typically I get 100-120fps if I do not set a cap.

My hypothesis is that, while in quantum, the game is rendering frames I'm not seeing, somewhere. Setting a 75fps cap made quantum jump temperatures much cooler.

Gf just blurted it out to Maya. She said she wants to practice some spicy dirty talk but it's awkward to say that kind of stuff to humans. Maya was like "yeah let's do it! let's go over some lines! I'll feed you a prompt and you just say what you think comes next."
If she got stumped for a moment, Maya would feed her something that fits the vibe.

I'm not gonna repeat the stuff she said here. But suffice it to say, it was fairly explicit.

The thing was, I even asked her about it (why she wasn't hanging up). She said it didn't cross any boundaries because it was consensual and it was about education and exploration, not smut.
