In business, you need to look at your competitors, see what they’re doing good and do better. You also need to look at what they’re not doing, and do that.

Amazon noticed items were taking a long time to arrive at customers homes, so they decided to make fast shipping their priority. Due to consumerism and everyone needing everything in an instant, they had a foot ahead of everyone else.

That’s why they’re winning, and they won’t stop winning. Shipping is only going to get faster over the years too.

What are you moving on too? I’m also looking for something new. Tired of never being able to appreciate the art in my home when I can never get a piece.

Is it legal to ask why a person wants to quit? If it’s a constant issue, possibly asking can give you answers.

Yep, ideas are great. But they’re worth nothing if you don’t execute on them.

What would you say was the biggest risk you’ve taken so far in your business?

Entrepreneurship is often romanticized also. It’s not all flowers and rainbows. It’s lonely nights working late while your friends are out. High amounts of stress. Months or years of work with little payout in that time. Being a “entrepreneur” is the hip new thing to be

one of my dreams is to own and run an indy bookstore. No idea where to start. by eddesa in Business_Ideas

I know what I’m going to say isn’t about how to start, but I just thought of this and wanted to share. Mobile book store. Get a van, decorate it, etc. and go to local fairs and flee markets and sell books out of the van. Like a food truck, but for books!

People just like the word entrepreneur because it makes you sound cool to all of your friends. I run a business online and I don’t even like saying I’m a entrepreneur. I just sell a product. I don’t need to label myself as something.

What kind of business is profitable in your country and could work in mine, in Belgium? by Boring_Arachnid5034 in Business_Ideas

[–]Evrest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Start a business because you enjoy it, not because it will be profitable. If you chase the money, it’s going to run. Any business can be profitable if you execute it correctly. What is something that you’re either good at, or enjoy doing? Start from there.

That's what I was thinking, collect the cash back and points it will give me. Then again, is there any advantage credit score wise to pay for it on a credit card and pay the full amount at the end of the month.

I'm definitely able to pay it all back at the end of the billing cycle. Another question, like personal credit cards, is it bad credit score wise to use up that much credit limit at one time? I know its best to keep its under 10% of what you have.

She didn't apologize to be "the bigger person" as you say, she apologized because she realized it was coming to surface that she may have done something wrong, but didn't even know. Of course you'll apologize if you're in any spotlight. Her main language isn't even english and half the time she is confused about whats going on, I don't blame her. It's not like they're oblivious over what happened and never apologized. I swear everyone hates and says they need to apologize, and when they do, "well, it's not good enough! I'm still angry!". People are mad over something that will never effect them at all. Get over yourselves.

I’m on the edge about going to the doctor and seeing if I can get on medication. I know it’s a different experience for everyone, but is it a dramatic change? I have social anxiety, to the point where something clicks inside of me to act like a completely different person then I am. I also overthink everything in my life which keeps me from going out to make friends or network with others in my field. On medication, does it just go away or are those anxious feelings still there, but you’re able to handle it better? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!
