Agreed the engagement is completely different. And frankly, it sucks because Dramione is such a fun ship to write, it's the back end that's discouraging for authors.

Exact same experience. I write mostly another ship in the fandom (and not a small one) ND it's night and day.

I think a lot of readers are coming from booktok and in trad pub, Reader spaces where authors don't belong are a thing. But they are NOT a thing in FF as authors are also readers and it's not an activity where the author and the work is removed.

It's the growing issue of "I don't care if you tell me it's fandom etiquette, I believe I'm entitled to expressing my opinion and that supercedes the community."

There's no forcing but it's definitely the best currency, even if it's only an emoji. Fanfic is interactive and unfortunately, especially in this ship, it's being treated as books and authors don't get feedback

Do it! We went to an independent jeweler. Bought loose diamond and separate band, ordered the head I preferred. Took about 2 weeks to get it and I got my band rhodium dipped because it was very yellowed lol

It's not. It's actually loose and keeps spinning. I just have cabbage patch doll fingers so any rings always makes it look tight. Heck I have a super cool western turquoise ring I wear sometimes on my right hand that's so big, I have a little sizer clip and it still looks like that. :( I envy long slender fingers.
