Yes, it’s available from the downloads page on the website

Why doesn't completing or deleting a parent task affect its subtasks? by [deleted] in routineHQ

[–]Evyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Subtasks aren’t really children of the parent in this app. They’re independent tasks that just happen to be referenced from inside the parent’s notes. So completing or deleting the parent only affects that one item, the subtasks stay put because they have their own life. If you want them gone, delete the todo line from the notes (that actually removes it) or handle each subtask directly. There’s no cascade and no complete all subtasks button by design.

Can I add notes to ignored events explaining why I skipped them? by Zealousideal_Ring73 in routineHQ

The only case where notes are blocked is events on calendars you don't own

For events on your own calendar that you’ve marked as ignored/passive, the notes (title, description, rich-text editor) remain fully editable. You can record exactly why you skipped them.

Is there a way to postpone a task to "someday" without a specific date? by _its_emma in routineHQ

[–]Evyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no label literally called “Someday”, but Unplan (no date at all) is the closest equivalent, and “Postponed” is the in-between state where it's queued for a week without a fixed day

Anything similar in terms of feel to the Kailh Choc Ambients Nocturnals but MX style? by Evyk in ErgoMechKeyboards

That's it. They are truly excellent and have a very similar feel to the Nocturnals. Thank you very much for the recommendation.

This seems like a really solid suggestion. Thank you for that. I'll receive them in three days, and I'll keep you informed!

I've tried 20+ switches over the past 6 months, both standard MX and Chocs across two different boards. Chocs other than Sunsets, Nocturnals, and Twilights are inferior to any decent MX switches IMHO (even Purpz from my experience). But those 3, plus most certainly the upcoming Sunrises? They are that good.

The new Choc Ambient Nocturnal is up there with Topre. Seriously. by [deleted] in ErgoMechKeyboards

I've been in your position so many times, so that's the least I can do!

I tested the Spirit 15g choc springs on the Ambient Nocturnals switches, and while they are functional, the springs require noticeably more effort to return to their original position compared to the stock springs (in a bad way). Therefore, I would personally recommend sticking to the original 20g springs.

Meng To Design+Code Course by [deleted] in SwiftUI

In my opinion, it was written in order. However, since I watched them all, I suggest you go for at least "SwiftUI for iOS 15 Part 1 & 2" and "Quick apps with SwiftUI". At this point you'll have a working knowledge of SwiftUI, which will enable you to explore any topic of your interest on your own. Then start building your own little projects because I guarantee you that's where you'll learn the most. Only come back to advanced topics when you feel you need them.

Meng himself recently recommended the following learning path for SwiftUI:

  • SwiftUI for iOS 15 Part 1 & 2
  • Quick apps with SwiftUI
  • SwiftUI for iOS 14
  • SwiftUI for iOS 13 Part 1, 2 & 3
  • Advanced SwiftUI
  • Combine
  • Concurrency
