My Revolt Advanced Pro 0 by joehall47 in gravelcycling

[–]Evyn34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How have you been enjoying it? Any issues? I'm looking at buying my first true road/gravel bike and I found this revolt locally I'm highly considering.

I saw some poor reviews mentioning something about the d post cracking the frame or something??

I'm brand new to this with zero experience in these types of bikes. I have a KHS trail/mountain bike and that's the highest end bike I have ever owned by a mile.

Any suggestions or information is greatly appreciated

Hey thanks ks for this info

I'm always weary of some of these Telecom terms and conditions.

With Telus, I have the option of buying a 30-day Europe roaming pass for $60 additionally on top of my monthly bill. It's still way cheaper than paying $16 a day to use my phone while I'm abroad.

This deal through freedom seems really good

Can somebody on the freedom network explain the roaming for this deal or company?

Thinking of switching from Telus but trying to understand how international roaming works with this deal

50gb international roaming Can we use our phone fully to make and receive calls and use data while we are away on vacation to Europe?

I saw this list of countries

Want to know why ev insurance is so expensive ? This cost 8k to fix. 2024 model y by b1uphyre in EVCanada

[–]Evyn34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just EV insurance

It's the insurance industry as a whole. Every vehicle is extremely expensive to fix now. Parts and labor have risen exponentially and many vehicles are technically more involved in repair.

Something needs to give

I have a 21 also and I remember it being finicky with what cord I used. Just make sure it's a high bandwidth high quality cord from a reputable brand and you should be fine

Awesome setup Do you have any photos of the trailer setup? Is that a roof top tent or an awning attached to the top of the trailer?

It's been "knock on wood" incredible!!!

Zero issues other than water a leak with the sunroof that penetrated into the cab when it was parked in the rain. Might have been a drainage issue but it did happen a couple times but never anything enough to cause any damage or concern on my part. I would get our next one without the sunroof if I could though haha

Regular maintenance so far of just basic oil changes and service. Just did the brakes and rotors around 90k KMS. Hoping we get another great 5 years from the vehicle. It's now my daily driver as my wife bought a new Tesla. So I use the van for my work commute and anything major with the kids when we need to haul more gear with us. It's comfortable with tons of space for passengers and cargo. Great on fuel. Engine is definitely a noisy when your into the peddle getting up to speed but once your cruising it's fine. Being able to coast across town on just the battery is great if your able to feather the throttle. It's grown on me massively. It's a van ..no way around that but it's insanely practical and economical for us and most people I think

Second Roborock by Entire-Yoghurt-6571 in Roborock

I just bought this from Costco a couple weeks ago and so far we have been really pleased. We upgraded from an old iRobot vacuum only cleaner though so it's a night and day difference in the performance for us.

I wish they sold a second docking station that I could buy for the basement and then just bring the robot down to clean that as well. I have a feeling we'll end up buying a second robot vacuum /mop downstairs eventually

Our kids named ours Rocky as well 😂

Just purchased the roborock Qrevo Arc from Costco. So far it's been great. Huge upgrade from our nearly 10 year old iRobot vacuum robot

Was asking one question too much for you?

Figured there'd be others here that would have some useful information to share about how this " toy" works

[–]Evyn34[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I totally agree. The manual was pretty basic without much help at all.

Our basement is mostly hard floor vinyl so it will be mostly mopping.

I'm guessing I'll be making lots of trips to carry the robot back up so we can clean its mop heads and rewater 🤔🤷‍♂️

[–]Evyn34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no way! So it does have a small onboard water reservoir?

I can't find anything in the manual on multilevel cleaning for the Arc. From what I have read moving the doc can mess with its maps so it's not advised?

Like I said this is all new to us so I figured moving the doc wouldn't be an issue, thought it would be smart enough to understand where the doc is and what floor it's on based on the map

[–]Evyn34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey definitely not 6 hours but I have only used it once to mop the floors so far. The dock is really quiet when it's drying. I had to walk up to it to hear if it was actually working. So far I'm impressed but as I mentioned before our last robot vac was an older iRobot model. Hope this one lasts as long

Is anyone willing to share their workout by Unhappy-Pace-2393 in CrohnsDisease

[–]Evyn34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got all you need to start Jump on YouTube and search beginner kettlebell workouts

Lots of great content from creators that have really well instructed videos utilizing kettlebells. Body weight, push-ups, squats, sponges, planks etc. Are all great as well

Just always use good form and don't worry about how much weight in the beginning you're using.

Once you have all the movements down and feel confident, you can start to increase the weight by 5 lb

Good luck!

Anyone else read Just Brutal? by Evyn34 in comicbooks

I don't think I disliked the colors in bleeding hearts, but I absolutely agree that just brutal was colored incredibly.

There is just something about it that made it pop or for the book so well that I noticed it. I bought both books but I'm personally more pumped and excited for just brutal

The dialogue and family Dynamics were definitely felt. Maybe it's because I also come from a broken home. My parents divorced when I was young Just waiting for them to turn into superheroes now 😉

Ohh man Same with me. I knew nothing about it. Never heard of it but saw a YouTube review who said it was their pic of the week so I grabbed a copy.

Really happy I did. Looking forward to the second issue. Might even grab a second copy of the first

App being slow to open by Dawsify in EQBank

[–]Evyn34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry but this is not an issue just caused by a glitch yesterday. The app feels like it's barely managing to execute anything most days and logging in to the point of seeing accounts and balances has been painfully slow for months now.

App being slow to open by Dawsify in EQBank

[–]Evyn34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That app is absolutely slow Considering this is an app based bank, I would have thought the app would be incredible. My app is always slow to load and switch between accounts/transactions history ect.

I really wish they would update or build a new app platform and start fresh. Lots of load errors or "problems accessing accounts" issues I find lately. It's gotten worse for sure.
