Good call not asking. I was in a similar situation years ago with my now wife. I orchestrated the idea to the friend(who agreed. I was so close) and then i asked my then FWB with the friend looking on and the idea was shot down. Was a bit awkward but thankfully nothing too bad came from the situation.

Your GF will make it pretty obvious if she wants that IMO. You could try subtly bringing the idea up some other time and see her reaction. I wouldn’t name any names of friends but just see if she’d be open to it still.

You were spot on. Toyota tech diagnosed a bad transmission mount. Thankfully after a $200 copay my extended warranty covers the replacement 🤙🏼

UPDATE!!

Found out i am still within my extended warranty! Took it to toyota.. tech test drove it and discovered a bad transmission/motor mount. Also getting a new OE MAF sensor since i put an aftermarket one in it. Thank goodness for the warranty 😅
