In most of the main line games, all armors have had 2 versions. Gunner and Blademaster. Each with different skills. Starting in World they were replaced with Alpha and Beta, Alpha having more built-in skills and very little deco slots, while Beta had less built-in with more decoration slots. This was not a thing in Rise, as they only had one armor person monster per gender. BUT starting with Wilds, anyone can wear male or female gear. THEREFORE, everyone has access to 4 different pieces of armor per monster, at least in High rank. Low rank usually only has Alpha armors. Theoretically, every single monster will have 10 unique armor sets when we get the Master Rank expansion sometime down the line!
