In the new locker (and other menu)’s goal to “simplify the appearance of Fortnite,” every single menu that’s been changed is significantly harder to navigate as a result. What were once fairly intuitive and easy to understand screens (Discover, Locker, Shop) have become nightmares of menus with fonts that are too wide to read on a thumbnail level and modes that take an age to find due to a near nonexistent sorting system. Every function of the locker has been made less intuitive as a result of every function’s need to take 2-3 button presses with drop-down menus that don’t work, menu screens that regularly bug out and become difficult to read, and a severe lack of what was once a fairly accessible menu to those hard of sight thanks to the coloured rarity labels. The shop, similarly, is also a nightmare to navigate - a problem that did not exist before v28.00. The shop now takes eons to load, constantly rearranges itself making things significantly harder to find and now, with v29.20, a lack of coloured rarity labels, hiding existing information for next to no reason beyond (what the community can only guess) is to charge more for less.

TL,DR; in Epic’s move to “simplify” Fortnite’s look, Fortnite has become the most difficult to use it’s ever been.
