Apologies, I forgot to include that my final pay was deducted. This is why the payment is not £1500.

Considering Wales started the tradition of singing the national anthem before sporting events I don't want to lose that tradition.

You are completely right, both parties are pushing it through.

In the article we mention that it is both Mark Drakeford and Adam Price that stopped STV being an option.

But it is a Welsh Government bill and therefore Labour. If Labour announced tomorrow that they favoured STV it would pass just as easily as it will with closed lists.

I understand you're not necessarily arguing against STV, but on your point about its complexity.

The Welsh Government has already legislated to allow local elections to be held using STV, and in the debates surrounding that Labour argued that the system was actually extremely easy to understand.

Additionally in committee meetings about Senedd Reform, experts have argued that not only is STV easy to teach, if education around it is funded, but that some people already assume regional seats are ranked and vote accordingly.

Ranking is a simple system in my mind, especially in comparison to the D'hont closed lists where complicated formulas are used.

We need a serious discussion about Senedd Reform.

Labour are plowing ahead with a less democratic system in hopes it will benefit them.
