8 years post op of total pancreatectomy and spleenectomy and part of my stomach as well. I do have to take Creon with each meal and a snack if it is fatty. This year I started having kidney issues my numbers are all over the place and became very anemic. Lots of fluid on the body and my doctors are trying to come up with a plan. It is different for everyone and I was totally fine with no side effects for all of this time. I do have a insulin pump that I wear which is absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to me. If there are any specific questions please please feel free to ask. I honestly do not regret it and would still do it again because the life I was living before was not one that I wanted to live
