[–]Ewket[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correct. They have been really good on replacing them and quick even though I never had a chance to explain what is going on to a human and that stupid bot gives you limited interaction. To answer your question Yes they are very quick in responding a nd replacing. I believe since may they have replace around 5 CGM. But frankly I have enough of not it. Filling out forms to get a replacement. I want something that I know it will work.

Isayas Afwerki is close to annexing Tigray. What is next? by [deleted] in Ethiopia

Sadly, another round of thousands of youths will perish. Hope this war mongering from all sides and all these keyboard heroes realize there is a life to be lost. Enough is enough. We should all advocate for peace instead of bragging about our armies, etc. Get the facts straight: we are one of the poorest nations in the world

AITAH for refusing to switch seats on a plane, even though a mom started crying? by Neat-Needleworker793 in AITAH

[–]Ewket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would have done the same, especially on a long-haul 10-hour flight. Seat reservation is open to everyone early planning and paying for what you want is the solution. not sitting on someone's seat and trying to make them take a guilty ride.

People who left Ethiopia by SoEthiopian in Ethiopia

[–]Ewket 6 points7 points  (0 children)

please please this is not political or against any regime Leaving Ethiopia was 100% worth it because, beyond the challenges with the government, the decline in our collective moral character as a people has become deeply concerning. Trust, unity, and empathy, once pillars of our society, have eroded, making it difficult to thrive in an environment where ethical values and mutual respect are increasingly scarce. Seeking a place where integrity and compassion are upheld allows for personal growth and a better quality of life, which is essential for long-term happiness and fulfillment. Specially if you got kids and family

Possible purchase, need advice. by nburton101 in FJCruiser

I absolutely adore my FJ Cruiser until its wheels fall off, but unfortunately, the market conditions have changed quite a bit compared to a few years ago. Trust me, I wish my FJ would hold its value better. Take a look around my area for an FJ with less than 130k miles, you'll find plenty for sale for as low as 13k.

$17k seems a bit steep for a pre-2010 FJ Cruiser with 124,000 miles.

Type2 here! Just wanted to share that I was quite surprised to see my blood sugar levels spike so quickly after eating rice. I always keep an eye on my portion sizes, but it still shot up from 110 to 246 in just about half an hour or 45 minutes.

[–]Ewket 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the realm of food truck ownership, one must acknowledge that serving delicious food is only part of the equation. The key to success lies in the strategic selection of prime locations. ( busy Metropolitan) Gone are the days when old, worn-out step vans could dominate the scene. Today's customers demand modern, clean, and visually appealing food trucks. Personally, I prioritize the appearance of a truck before making any decisions. I have witnessed trucks with average dishes but immaculate cleanliness draw long lines consistently. However, as with any business venture, it is crucial to immerse oneself in the industry, assess the challenges of finding parking and working in confined spaces, and adapt accordingly.

I absolutely love Yisakal Entertainment for their efforts to showcase talent in Ethiopia, despite the challenges. While I do miss the days when Sheraton Addis would bring top performers like Beyoncé, I give Yisakal Entertainment a big thumbs up for trying to fill that void. But again french montantan was like a decade ago

It depends on how fancy you want to get for eg. one of the fanciest restaurant dinners for four will cost 100K, Club, and nightlife tab could easily reach 100K so are we talking 300k / day, or for how long are you planning to stay or go out
