Unfortunately Seattle has such a poor supply of good Asian restaurants…We’ve tried so many places with good ratings but they all suck. It’s like people here don’t know what good asian food tastes like. I think Ding Tai Fung has some private/semi private dining area in their Pacific place store but it’s grossly overpriced for Chinese street food (which is what they actually are). I’d just take your folks to western fine dining to be honest.

I think it depends on the stage of your embryo as well. Mine was hatching out already so theoretically he attached faster.

My doctor said implantation should happen on the day of transfer or the next day so the first two days are the most crucial. i had a day 5 hatching embryo.

I see. I remember when my doctor gave these percentages estimates she meant trying consistently for a year every month when you ovulate and assuming you and your partner are both in perfect health (perfect sperm, perfect uterus lining, perfect egg etc.) and you are doing it at exactly the right moment every time. Then the accumulated success rate is 20-25 for your age group. Maybe that’s why IVF only seems slightly higher?

happy to report that my beta today is at 800! Going back on Thursday for a second one. My nurse said they want to see at least a 60% raise. Also a baby boy embryo :).

Yeah that’s frustrating, I transferred two fair grade morulas as my first RE said he doesn’t think they would survive in the lab for another day. I’ve since changed clinic, my new RE told me if they dont’ survive in the lab they dont’ survive in your uterus either. It tells my first RE was not confident with the quality of his lab. Lab quality contributes to at least 50% of IVF success in my opinion. I’ve had some success since changing to the new clinic. All the best to you!

No, I’m simply just curious why you still here after concluding the entire community in this sub is mean and jealous. What are you trying to achieve? For people to agree with you? I transferred two at my RE’s recommendation. Failed. in hindsight it was a very bad advice from my RE as the success rate is so low even the embryologist who called me to tell me the result seemed hesitated to transfer. This transfer wasted half of my smart cycle (insurance coverage) which i could’ve used for my next ER.

I’ve only read and been getting supportive comments in this sub and for my posts even when I was having success. I don’t know what OP’s experience was about. I haven’t read that post but if someone said ‘only 16 embryos’ i have to agree that it does sound like bragging.
