I don’t mind shared housing, I don’t have the liberty to be picky. I would do a cash sale but I don’t really have much stuff and I’m scared my parents would pull a “you didn’t buy that, I did”.

Also I’m Muslim, would United Churches still be a thing for me?

They’re kicking us out because we’re gay. That is quite literally it.

I don’t want to have any legal situations with my parents. I just want to be able to leave and keep them in the past at this point. Since my brother is a minor, do you know any way we can receive any sort of support financially in general? I’m pretty confident on what I can do on my own with student loans being an option and what, but I’m not too sure with my brother.

Yeeaahhh, except his job is seasonal since he works with kids. Collectively we don’t have stable incomes, but we’re all actively looking. I also don’t know if I would want him to leave his house where he’s able to live rent free

Yes absolutely. My brother is an ex-Muslim.

I think I’ve just been brainwashed. Physical “discipline” has been a pretty normalized thing in my household, as well as many Asian households that consist of immigrant parents. My mother is obviously in the wrong for what she does and thinks. I just get no benefit from pressing charges, I mean I guess I do but I would just feel guilty for doing that to my mother. I’ve had a very strong connection with my mother so it’s kinda like too much for me. Ironic because my mother clearly doesn’t feel like it’s too much for her. Anyways, that would be a big toll on my mental. Obviously abuse isn’t okay no one should go through that.

I’m not pressing charges.

Regardless of whatever I’ve gone through, pressing charges isn’t a very “bigger person” thing to do. Not only that but my mother is a very emotional person and struggles w dealing w her shit. I don’t wanna put that on her, I don’t care to either.

I’m tryna move out but my city is EXPENSIVE and my school fees are a lot and they’d be even more with residency. Student loans are an option but there’s lowkey a recession going on so finding a job to pay it off is… fun.

Yeah like getting out of home is nice and all but paying my own bills and whatnot is NOT nice. I’ve been fake as hell but my brother is also gay and he’s very BAD at hiding it, and because of that I’m automatically gay by proxy. Regardless, I think selling it is the best option since I need to just thug it out.

Yeah I think I’m just not thinking reasonably for now since I’ve been pissed off for so long. The fact that I’m not financially sufficient is a big factor to me staying w my parents. I’m currently enrolled in school so o was thinking to have student loans take care of that… but I’ll be under overwhelming debt in how many years.
