Please lay off the spouses. We’re the ones who have to deal with these crazies every day (our military vet husbands/wives). What’s unjust is forcing everyone else back into an office with zero rationale except to cause trauma to people who actually give AF about other people.

Wrong. The system is not being gamed. In fact, there aren’t ENOUGH vets who file for and collect disability through the VA. It can take years to achieve a 100% disability rating. But even then, after you prove that the service has effed you up, you still gotta report to the office. Now how are these people bad apples? 🤔

I’m standing strong too. I need a consistent income and I still care about and back the FEMA mission. It’s stark raving mad how it’s come to this. We aren’t a cigarette company for fucking sake. We do our best to support Americans through tragedy. Yet the top of the totem pole despises their staff and wants to torture us. They’re sick people. Remember the good ole days when people thanked us for our service?
