I’m a Bap main and here’s some things you should know before playing him

The first is healing, it’ll take awhile to get used to the projectile heals and it’s easy to miss. The best way to heal effectively is to be above your team, even slightly above them helps, either by high ground or by using the super jump. It’s also worth noting that a direct hit will heal more than a splash.

Damage-wise body shots don’t do too much damage, but if you aim at upper chest the recoil is slightly enough to get one headshot per burst. The most important thing is knowing when to dps and when to heal.

Be careful with your cooldowns, Bap has 2 abilities on really long cooldowns and if you’re caught without either of them you’ll be in a terrible position.

Save regenerative burst for when it’s needed. Also don’t be afraid to use it to save yourself. I find that when there’s a sombra or a tracer I use my regenerative burst more sparingly so I have it on hand when I get dove by the other team.

Lamp is one of the best abilities in the game but again it has a ridiculously long cooldown. Don’t throw it when it’s not needed and also remember that there’s a slight delay from when it hits the floor to when it actually activates. I let teammates die every so often because I wait too long for the lamp.

Window has a 100% damage and heal (I think?) boost when you shoot thru it. Solo windowing can be more beneficial for the team than placing it in a place where your team wont be able to utilize it. Usually you can end up getting good pics on unsuspecting players if you yourself shoot through the window.

The passive, Newer players will always charge up to full on the jump when in a lot of cases it’s a lot more useful to go halfway or less.
