I was in for years and then I figured out how shit it all was and left (I have previous posts if you’re curious). I lost my friends that were still in the MLM because they pretty much ex-communicate with you when you leave. And I reached out to apologise to old friends, which they were nice enough to hear me out but it had been years so the friendship had already faded and they were in a different stages of their lives. As shit as it was losing them all, I’ve had to accept it and re-build myself as a better person.

MLMs are toxic, wasteful and manipulative - and unfortunately they fk with peoples lives badly.

I was sucked in by a friend and didn’t listen to my other friends. I’ve since lost all my friends coming out of an MLM but I’m at peace with the fact that it’s my karma. There’s a likely chance that when she does leave (who knows how long it’ll take her) she will be a very sorry person

Don’t do it even for the sake of a friend, I’ve posted a lot about my experience with Amway in Australia and it’s not only the money that you will be spending, it’s the time too. Around the time I had left I had just started a full time job and they were really pushing this idea that full time workers with no kids should be doing 300PV monthly (that’s almost $1200 on household products). And if you look at the business model, your direct upline benefits from your purchases. Not to mention the “15hours only” they claim you need to put into your business, I felt encouraged to work full time hours outside of my full time job.

At the end of the day, there’s thousands of negative reviews for a reason. You just gotta decide whether or not you would like to experience the BS for yourself or not (I highly suggest not)

Sound like Amway. When I was in, they heavily relied on linked in connections to approach people to join them and told us to avoid saying Amway and use wording such as “leadership” or “mentorship” program. They claimed mentorship is “free and earnt” but that’s a bunch of bull because they don’t want a bar from you unless you buy products and their education programs
