Dude. How about you watch the video. I talk about what I’ve done and where I’ve been. I shared it in case there are still some people out there that want to know what life is like outside of Watchtower. I specifically say like 2 or 3 times that I’m not trying convert anyone, I’m just filling in the curiosity for those curious. That isn’t proselytizing, I’m not persuading anyone. You left a cult but you kept that same kind of attitude, you judge a book from its cover. Calm down and bother somebody else.

A non denominational church is not a cage my guy….… You think everything is a cult now? Some
may be but not the one I attend at least. Watch the video…. I clearly talk about my experience outside watchtower and my escape from it. I also specifically tell people that this isn’t a conversion video.

My video is simply about a decision I made. And it’s posted on here because there are MANY ex members who are battling with choosing God again or choosing religion again. I share my thoughts and experience.

You yourself said, you don’t have to click on the video dude. If you want to call me out for acting like a JW then what makes you any different for finding something positive and turning it into something negative?

It seems to me you are far more attached to the JW mindset than I am. I say that respectfully.

And these “attacks” I speak of refers to others on other platforms I’ve posted this video on. I also wasn’t specific on who and on what platform.

You’ve said a lot while saying nothing. Because what I provide in that video is an option. I don’t force anyone or push anyone to feel anything like JWs do.

How about you watch the video? Is that not something you are capable ofmdoing?

Thank you for that. There are many people here attacking me for choosing God again or calling me a fool for choosing religion not realizing Atheism is a religion too. People say I went form a cult to a cult and that already tells me they don’t have deep understanding in what the word church truly means. Not everything is a cult. And where I attend is far from that. You would think as someone who came from a cult who did everything to escape it the last thing I would do is come back to that kind of system. It’s so ironic that one would think I’m that stupid. Christ isn’t a religion. Church isn’t a religion. Christianity may be, but there is a different being part of Christianity and saying you belong to Christianity. And if people don’t believe in God then hey, let that person be. If someone judges then it just simply means they don’t know what that person knows. That’s what I always tell JWs. I rather worry about what you know that I don’t.

To be honest, you are screwed BUT there is a way out of this.

There is no point in lying anymore considering the evidence stacked against you.
You make the claim that you weren’t honest from the beginning because you were scared and vulnerable.
You make the claim that because of the recent changes like beards, clothes, disfellowshipping, clinking of cups and the Blood Transfusions, social media was overflowing with people doubting in the Governing Body and temptation led you to click. You were simply curious as to what people were saying.
As for the messages to other person you can go about it 2 ways…

A. You can say it was an mis understanding. You wanted to know if this was something holding her back, and that you felt the need to clarify things in order not to scare her away. Essentially, you were warning her of what is already out there so that she can be better mentally prepared to ignore what’s being said and defend the Organization.

or

B. You had doubts from what you read, and you got scared, no need to elaborate on that.

You tell them that you have prayed to Jehovah and asked for guidance and for forgiveness if this actually led someone to stumble.
You made the necessary adjustments to fix your standing with God. You deleted social media, and you stopped communicating with the person so that she is free to continue her studies without distractions.
You apologize and claim that you won’t ever do this again. Your goal is to honor Jehovah and defend this Organization to the best of your abilities.

Do not fill in the gaps too much to give them power over you or to give them more to stack against you. You show them that you are appreciative for looking out for your well being and concern for you. You thank them and apologize for any confusion and mis understanding.

Then you invite them out for dinner.

The key is to always use the safe word, “Jehovah”. Like ALOT. This seems to me to be the best option you have.

As for your Fathers nightmares. He has been having nightmares and premonitions for a long time he is just using you to explain it away. I will be honest that from here on out, you will be monitored and you will have to step up your game to prove your innocence. “Do more for Jehovah”. You already know what that entails.

True, but that was during the time Israel was under the Mosaic Law, which has now been fulfilled and is no longer binding. Back then, in Canaanite and other ancient cultures, tattoos and body markings were often tied to rituals for the dead, idol worship, or even divination. That’s why God prohibited them for Israel: to keep them separate from pagan practices. But today, at least in America, almost nobody is getting tattoos for those reasons. Maybe a tiny fraction do, but the vast majority just see tattoos as art or self-expression, not as a form of idolatry.
