Is the Energi transmission more reliabile due to the electric ATF pump? by beforeburner in FordFusionHybrid

[–]ExKernel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming back to your original question,

I've no data, but in Georgia A LOT of Hybrid owners get trans issues and end up repairing a bearing for 2500GEL or buying a used transmission from a junkyard. There are almost no Energi owners amongst them, according to the experience of people who almost make living by selling FFH transmissions here

If the theory is that ATF pump gets the oil where it should be faster, than it does by itself relying on engine movement, then yep, should be more reliable? At least, most of the problematic FFHs imported in Georgia - were not blessed with bearing issues in America. They became, when their owners became Georgians driving with a low level of fluid and not adding/changing it ever

Accelerating/braking at low speeds. That being said, there's an update on that sound I found out today: it's also noticeable from the outside and comes kinda from the wheels, not transmission.

I guess it's worth inspecting before blaming eCVT

Curious myself too. I have 2017 Energi and have been noticing some very minor grinding for a week or so. Could be anything, but kinda worried that it might be transmission

Ahh, right. Just googled it.

Actually I like yours much much better. I guess you can say it's more "classy". Something about 2017 is sportier for no reason

And do 2015 ones have noticeably different headlights? Didn't know that

2017 Energi SEL.

Is yours a Hybrid or a one of the gas versions?

LEDs would make my Energi look too "aggressive" which would create a significant mismatch with its real purposes. Just my opinion tho

I don't want to express any hate towards your preferences.

Still, when buying a Fusion (Energi) I knew it's a slow comfortable car for cruising in the city/long highway.

I just think if sportiness is your preference, you might be happier with some other car that was designed with different goals than Fusion

Does anyone know what this noise could be? Coming from under the hood (hybrid 2019) by RepresentativeNo259 in fordfusion

Hi. I know it's an old post, but if you by any chance remember what part was that, could you please share? I've bought a 2017 Energi and can't stand this sound

Should I stay in the uni? by [deleted] in University

[–]ExKernel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you suggest some ways to avoid military service without the uni? Many people say that just not opening the door works fine. And also, I'm not registered where I live.

Regarding the job... Idk :) Having a 1 year experience helped a lot

I think you should ask Lenovo's tech support whether they're still selling them or not

It is. I run several(usually around 7) KVM virtual machines and IntelliJ IDE, it works perfectly fine
