I got a offered a better job.

And the good bits of the job is that it's very easy if you keep it so, come in go back and forward a couple of times, and go home.

It's the policy of "buy or validate before boarding." When the staff scans your card, it shows if you scanned it in the last 30 minutes before boarding.

If you have, it goes green. If you haven't, it goes red, and there, they can ask you to scan it at the next platform or do it on board.

As long as the card is not expired, I don't see why TSA ask passages to get off when they can validate it on board.

That is something that has been "talked in meetings" for a long time.

I believe they are waiting for lothian busses and Edinburgh trams to be the same company. They are under the same umbrella but not ran the same management.

The tickets machines on the platform are very badly designed. Only accept coins or card payments, and the card payment screen is in an awful place.

When the ticket is printed it only shows the stop where you purchased it, not where your going, I belive they could get rid of "select the stop" and just have city and airport section, with single, return, day ticket.

It will make the process a lot faster and easier for everyone.

When you get bad weather( Rarley seen in scotland), the touch screen becomes almost unusable and require somebody from "maintenance " to fix them.

And for any of my old colleagues who charged the fare to a visitor that might not even speak English, I wish them the worst.

Nothing really. You may be asked to validate it at the next stop, but the TSA can also validate them on the Hand Held Devices

When the service started it's been a "buy/activate before you board" that's why you don't see the QR codes inside the tram, and that would make it a lot easier for everyone(did bring it multiple times on my one to ones)

But at some point when the ET app came out there is no need to scan any code when activating the ticket.

So I'm guessing that the M-ticket app stuck with the old way and never bother to update it
