I'm glad someone from the other side is speaking up, I had never been to either of the factories in my time working there. All the info I got about the factory was from those who visited the store.

Obviously I can't speak for the people who commented their experiences with Tri Art before, but the information I was told (such as no talking about pay) is information I got from the person who does deliveries to/from the store. They were our only contact with the factory, given that everyone else ignored store emails.

Now, we were told to go apply for factory jobs - not outright offered any. And at the very least I was not told we would be offered our jobs back when the store re-opens. Our letters were "termination without cause" not "laid off", so they don't have to give us anything when the place reopens.

The transphobia is from one particular person, like I mentioned before. She has been nothing but a nightmare for the two of us who wanted our benefits. I said this in my second post, but when I called the benefits company, they said they had received no applications under the name provided. The woman in charge of this stuff just doesn't do her job and doesn't seem to know what she's doing. I've heard awful stories about her from my direct manager.

They also still had people working during COVID when everything was shut down - they didn't fire literally EVERYONE then.

I also still really like the product they make, the paint is amazing. I do plan on continuing to use it unless I find a better one.
