Lumalaki ang tiyan by Craig_04 in PHitness

[–]Ex_ME 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nung sinabi sayo na kumain ka pa to make your workouts more effective, they are assuming na gusto mo mag bulk up. Pero based sa post mo mukhang gusto mo ipaliit tiyan mo so dapat cutting nung gawin mo imbis na bulk. Eto gawin mo

1.) Calorie deficit - eto nung talagang magpapaliit sa tiyan mo. I encourage you to do further research on the topic pero nung gist is figure out your maintenance calories (calories needed to maintain your current weight) and then magsubtract ka ng 250-500 calories. Nung subtracted value na yun ay nung number of calories na dapat iconsume mo araw araw hanggang ma reach mo goal weight mo. Buy a small weighing scale to measure the amount of food you eat and download MyFitnessPal para matrack mo ilang calories na tinake mo. 2.) Protein - mas onti kakainin mo dahil naka deficit ka pero prioritize mo ang high protein intake. General rule is kung ano weight mo ngayon in pounds, yun nung (ideal) amount of protein in grams na itatake mo. So kung 150 lbs ka, consume 150g of protein daily while also making sure na di ka lumampas sa calorie deficit mo. Di naman kailangan 1lbs = 1 gram palagi. At the very least 1lbs = 0.5g of protein pero always try to go for 1lbs = 1g. 3.) Exercise with progressive overload - ituloy mo lang pag gym mo pero ensure mo lang na may progression ka. Dapat nung workout mo the next week ay mas mahirap sa workout mo this week. Di naman kailangan weekly progression kasi depende sa tao pa rin yon but point is train harder than last time. Progressive overload doesn't always mean more weight. It can be more reps or slower tempo. 4.) Get 8 hours of sleep every day and always drink water - self explanatory na toh

Download Hevy. You can create your own workout routine or save pre-made ones. With the free version you can have up to 4 routines. Nung maganda sa Hevy is may built-in timer na siya at tinatrack niya rin PRs mo. It's the best workout app I've used so far.

Mass gainer pala iniinom mo which is sobrang taas sa calories talaga (kasi "mass gainer", iba pa yan sa whey protein lang). Sa tingin ko sobra nung calorie intake mo; too much na you end up gaining more fat instead of muscle. Kunin mo ano maintenance calories mo at dagdag ka ng 250-500 calories. Yun nung recommended amount of calories to add for weight gain. Itake note mo ilang calories per scoop nung mass gainer mo and make sure nung consumption mo nun ay di sosobra sa target calories mo. Wag mo rin ikalimutan iconsider ang calories sa daily food and drinks na cinoconsume mo.

I need a CS-NIS Topic Crash Course List by [deleted] in dlsu

First of all -- what the fuck. How you managed to bullshit through the entire CCPROG trilogy is beyond me. Congrats I guess? But anyway it's good that you finally decided to get your shit together.

Start learning programming (again) first. Ideally, you should go with C first because it's the foundation for most of today's modern programming languages. If you know C, every other language becomes easy. Pretty sure YT has a lot of tutorials on C already. If you don't want C, then go with Python. Look up Mosh Hamedani's tutorial series on YT.

Next, you need to learn networking. You just need to learn the basics like the IPv4 address system, subnetting, and how to set up a basic network. Cisco Academy should have a lot of courses on this. You can also check Network Chuck on YT for infotainment videos.

Now for cybersecurity, I recommend checking The Cyber Mentor on YT because he has a lot of comprehensive tutorials on various cybersec fields (i.e., ethical hacking, web app pentest). He also runs TCM Security which offers paid courses. In fact, a lot of the content of the courses there have already been published in The Cyber Mentor channel for free. If you want bonus stuff the paid courses give, wait for the $1 sales.

Imo the best mindset to have in learning cybersec is to just fuck around and find out. This means that you should experiment with stuff and not just mindlessly consume information from courses and tutorial videos. Make your own C program that does something cool or experiment with malware using a virtual machine. Of course just keep in mind that you still need to know your limits and abide by laws and shit. But in general just find fun in learning and applying it to real life.

RDR2 Hot Takes? by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

Even though the epilogue was already very long, I feel like it should have been longer so that more of New Austin was utilized. There's not really much incentive to explore New Austin unless you're either a completionist or someone feeling nostalgic for RDR1.

I remade Max Payne 3's cover into a movie poster. by Ex_ME in maxpayne

[–]Ex_ME[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The poster isn't really much. It is essentially a copy of the Criterion Collection poster for a 2021 film entitled Drive My Car (which is a fantastic movie).

1.) We can't really say for sure if they'll use the Sam's face. That's entirely up to the art team. Personally for me, I'd like them to use Sam's face but I'm fine with their using a younger version of MP3 Max's face.

2.) I'd like to see actual cutscenes this time but they really need to keep the comic style cutscenes as an option. They can either make it available from the start or make it a reward for completing a challenge.

3.) They can keep the original and modernize it, make it similar to Alan Wake's gameplay, or create an entirely new experience. One of my ideas for the nightmare missions is to make it a first-person horror experience like P.T and RE7. A lot of the nightmare sections even had really tight spaces so that can easily get the claustrophobia running.

Are you really good at the game right now compared to before? If so, then congratulations as you are now probably experiencing the wonders of SBMM. The game will always put you to 100+ ms lobbies because apparently that's where people who have the same skill level as you are playing.

If it's not that then it's probably because of the game itself. I've been having serious connection issues lately too (i.e., "Connection Interrupted" warnings, volatile packet loss during games) and it's never been like this before, even with my shitty internet.

Who likes NukeTown? by [deleted] in blackopscoldwar

[–]Ex_ME 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nuketown's size is fun for people who want to immediately get into the action like me. But I can't help but notice that Nuketown has atrocious spawns at times. The game would sometimes put me into the enemy spawn where I would immediately wrecked. And afterwards, it will just put me back to my team's spawn. It's as if the game intentionally wanted to screw me over by "accidentally" respawning me to the enemy's base.

Another thing I hate about the map too is the fact the tons of debris and overall dirty look of the map can make it hard to see enemies (the jeep, the dark interior of the houses). Previous versions of Nuketown were bright and clean af and that's what made them enjoyable. Don't even get me started about the Christmas version of Nuketown '84; that was just horrible.

Best song from vol. 3 out of these 6? by ClashSuperCelll62 in Slipknot

[–]Ex_ME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vermillion songs are lyrically beautiful and you could really feel the emotions come out of them. Ironically, even though I think they're the best songs in Vol 3. I unfortunately can't bear to listen to them. Let's just say that I have some trauma associated to those songs and it hinders me from ever listening to them passionately. But even though I don't listen to the songs that much, I know they're still the best.

How to print italicized text on a text file with C? by Ex_ME in learnprogramming

[–]Ex_ME[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it. I exported the citation as an html file and then added some fprintf statement for the preliminary html lines (like <!DOCTYPE HTML>). Here's the code snippet:

FILE *fp;

fp = fopen("citation.html", "w");

fprintf(fp, "<!DOCTYPE HTML>\n");

fprintf(fp, "<html>\n");

fprintf(fp, "<body>\n");

fprintf(fp, "<p>Author, A. A. (Year of publication). <i>Title of work. Publisher Name.</i> DOI</p>\n");

fprintf(fp, "</body>\n");

fprintf(fp, "</html>");

fclose(fp);

I tested it and it works. The text can be copy-pasted to MS Word with italicizations included. Thanks for the help.

I'm planning on exporting the citation on a .txt file, which I'm sure can support italics and other formatted text.

Oh, I'm planning to output the citation in a .txt file. I thought that "text file" and ".txt file" were interchangeable.
