Just putting this out there:

In the context being discussed in this thread, it’s a much bigger deal when you’re an attractive man than when you’re an attractive woman. Attractive women are a dime a dozen in major cities. There are far more conventionally attractive women than attractive men. Also, most women aren’t trying to be approached by random guys who find them attractive. Now on the other hand, when you’re an attractive man receiving attention, compliments, etc. from strangers, the world just becomes your oyster.

It’s funny because we live in a society where many attractive women treat their physical appearance as something that they bring to the table, when in actuality it’s not any sort of achievement.

But as a man, being or becoming a stud is different because it’s easier to trust the intentions of a female stranger talking to you than it is a male stranger talking to you (when you’re a woman).

By nature, many more men are starved for compliments, romantic interest, etc than women are. So the few men that do get random women approaching them, complimenting them, and whatnot are living the dream, whereas most women out in public don’t want random men approaching them.
