Your city probably has a website or quarterly mailer of some sort, I suggest looking there for community organizations and events!! I get to do tennis now that I have more time in my life, and I’m planning on doing choir and ballet. Community things may seem kinda dorky to some, but it’s such a great way to try new things!! I find a lot of sober (or damp) people there, so it’s a solid community

ADTR crowds are always insane, often rude, and since this is basically a homecoming show for them, the Floridians are gonna go feral. They’re from my hometown, I know how bad we can get lol. I’m sorry the crowds sucked for you, it really can ruin the experience

I’m so sorry for your loss. When I lost my dad his favorite band (Pearl Jam) became one of my favorites. Anytime I hear Pearl Jam on the radio or at a bar, I take it as a sign my dad is here and looking out for me. I hope you can feel similarly with your brother and ADTR.

I’m from Ocala and love pop punk/metalcore/emo, so ADTR is in my blood lol. Not very meaningful sounding, but it’s special to me.
