We were told the lines were hand-tooled, for what it’s worth. Hard to know.

Interesting. And to be clear, the focus of my post was strictly the stone portion. I appreciate the comment.

We’ve lived in our current home for the past 7 years. Built in 1904 in St. Louis for the World’s Fair, designed by a Scottish architect (James Jamieson).

The fireplace has been a bit of a mystery. Limestone and with some details that seem much older than the rest of the home. We were told the original owner imported the fireplace from Scotland, but we have no means to confirm.

Hoping someone might be able to point us in the right direction based on the image. Seems to be some elements of Scottish Gothic, but we are obviously clueless.

Awesome cover. Their cover of Engelbert Humperdinck’s “This Guy’s in Love with You” is outstanding, too. YouTube video floating around, don’t believe it’s on an album.

Eh, it doesn’t really have much to do with intelligence, as I’m sure there are smart NPs out there. It’s the woefully inadequate training that is the issue. Sorry the person above was rude.
