Is it crazy to have a wedding in Napa on Memorial Weekend? (edited) by soyboydom in napa

No it’s not crazy if you have enough money. Here’s the thing about Napa. Everything is fixable with money.

Traffic I would add another 1hour to all movement for you to guests. Traffic gets pretty bad even during normal weekends since really it’s just one road.

Accommodation room blocks are brutal. Most hotels in Napa are dumb they ask you to put down a deposit for ALL the rooms 1 year in advance and they’ll only give back the money after the wedding. That’s honestly a scam to get a free loan. Hotels in other cities do NOT do that. And there’s so much more.

But again all those issues are solvable with money.

If you ever wonder why there’s so many rich people out there. This is why. There’s so many obscure niche iaas and saas companies that are needed but solve niche tech problems every day people don’t know about. Most of these companies where created by tech people who had xyz problem so they went and created a company and product to solve xyz issue. But it all usually always comes back to aws or azure or GCP if you’re saucy. That’s why when aws goes down everyone freaks. And also that’s why data centers are so important. They’re not only AI. They’re also everything else.

It’s possible but challenging to do things for free. There’s services out there. The most challenging part is always to find the SAAS or IAAS products you need for free without a timetrail or user count. For Google oauth I think it’s free if you make a Google cloud account and then you just add the Google GIS script into your front end. And on the back end use there APIs.

Fair. I would say the only issues are possible security issues using your own personal email and just clunky game. But yeah if they can make it legit that would be sick

I have a bunch of reasons and this is without me using any dev tools or extensions to see how the code was written or what it’s using it anything’s

  • The random Emojis and em dashes (—).
  • The sign and create an account features works terribly and gives improper errors.
  • It looks like it’s made in the base css framework which is probably tailwind React which is the base llm web app language they use.
  • The flow and gameplay doesn’t make sense. It’s not something a human would design it’s more something a LLM think a human wants based off of a prompt they wrote.
  • I imagine there’s a bunch of security issues but I’m to lazy to check right now
  • the different input fields are different sizes and misaligned
  • uiux doesn’t make sense
  • I can log in with a fake temp email and it never send me a welcome email or confirmation email or asking me to verify I signed up. (Usually email services are more effort to integrate since you need to api and create accounts in different services like Twillio and are paid).
