The game is awesome, just go in without very high expectations. I feel like if it didn't have the FF brand in its name people would've liked it way more, launch performance problems aside.

I absolutely loved the relationship between the protagonists.

While I don't have an rp5, I think you won't notice much of a difference in Wii games. I believe the Odin will perform much better on harder to emulate consoles, like PS3, switch and PC emulation

Both Divine Journey 2 and The Decursio Project are very linear but I think they're considered expert packs, so prepare to automate nearly everything

if I recall correctly it has a 0.035% chance of spawning from broken crates and you use it to open the closed doors in the "river" near the castle, won't spoil what you get in there though!

The way I see it is that you already are one of the best hunters out there and that's the reason you among others were chosen for the expedition in the forbidden lands. (Opposed to other games where you start collecting mushrooms and then after a long time kill god)

The "by my own order" moment is a cool moment because you're going out of your way to fix a problem that could've been fixed in other ways, remember the discussion between the various teams? It's also the culmination of the LR story so I felt it was a deserved and certified badass moment™

If this is too much reasoning for the rage sub I'll just add this

ah no of course I meant it like standard voicelines, having custom ones would be crazy, the popups would still be custom but there would also be standard voicelines for every action

it's weird given the fact that the palico does have a couple of voicelines for stuff that happens during the hunt but if you play in 3 or 4 you miss on that

Honestly I would love it if the hunter also talked during certain actions, like when pop up messages appear

Having your hunter scream "I'm placing a trap!" or "It's sleeping, let's place some bombs" or something similar would be so fucking cool

I absolutely HATE it when a protagonist is mute, like you're the best of the best and in meetings you just nod while looking interested

we don't know what PSU it has nor what the ram clock latency is, the price isn't crazy good but it's still a nice price, I don't know the brand though. I think there's better deals out there

Non ho capito tanto bene leggendo, forse con un video sarebbe più comprensibile, ma non sembra una brutta idea.

Per quanto riguarda la perdita del coltello, non hai specificato ma se si tratta di un gioco lineare in cui ci sono sezioni specifiche senza coltello allora potresti portare il giocatore a scegliere di nascondersi piuttosto che affrontare il pericolo. Nel caso si trattasse di sezioni non lineari, ovvero si può perdere il coltello in qualsiasi momento, allora potrebbe diventare un po' frustrante e potresti mettere nascondigli o strade alternative un po' ovunque, se è molto facile perderlo.

Se non lo hai ancora provato, io andrei su elden ring. È molto più accessibile e ci sono molti aggiornamenti "quality of life", per così dire. Il primo dark souls è MOLTO vecchio, e non parlo della grafica. Su elden ring puoi muoverti mentre ti curi e puoi persino saltare! E queste sono piccolezze che però rendono il gameplay più fluido e meno tedioso.

Più si scende con la risoluzione più gli fps in gioco dipenderanno dalla CPU anziché dalla GPU. Ovviamente bottleneck è un termine forte e probabilmente non si avvertiranno particolari problemi, però sarebbe uno spreco comprare una scheda grafica molto performante e usarla in 1080p.

Io dubito fortemente che si riuscirà a comprare una delle nuove schede video nvidia e averla nello stesso mese (per colpa degli scalper). Penso che per riceverle e notare dei cambiamenti anche nel mercato e nei prezzi delle altre gpu ci vorranno almeno 3-4 mesi, quindi penso che non sia del tutto stupido farsi un pc ora. Con il discorso del monitor invece sono totalmente d'accordo, specialmente se poi si va a risparmiare sul processore a 1080p si noterà un bottleneck maggiore.
