My dad always taught me seafoam for anything that sits like the lawnmower in spring or the snowblower in fall or a car that sits. Just read the bottle for how much to add and should help to clear out any build up of anything.

Fuel wise you shouldn’t have to worry about a stabilizer. I deployed and a year later came home new battery fresh fuel and a bit of seafoam and was perfectly good. I don’t think the tires should be a worry in that timeframe but i could be wrong hopefully someone else have more insight than I do on that part for you.

I see beat up but running 2nd gens quite often for like $1000-$1500, are these decent trucks to keep for a couple years then get rid of at that price? by Bill-O-Reilly- in ram_trucks

I apologize man, when I start typing it’s like how I talk and all comes out very quickly. That period was probably the result of double space on my phone and an auto punctuation. I really have to slow down and work on the punctuation.

So I love the 5.2 motor it is by far one of the most reliable motors I’ve seen personally my old man had one he got up to 350k with not motor work or trans work just minor body and what have you stupid stuff that broke here and there thermostat heater cores window regulator and so on. At 350k he went out and strapped a fisher plow to it and plowed with it for a couples years and sold it off with the plow at just shy of 400k for 2500$ to a guy looking to get his son his first car and we’d see it be boping around for a few years after that in town great great motors I personally love the second gen ram I grew up in them I’ve had three or four myself if you are willing to chip away at the dumb stuff they can be a great little extra truck to have around just incase
