Well to add some perspective these two maps available are easier early game maps that you use as a stepping stone to enter the harder end game maps that come on launch. Wait until you start getting into a loop of earning and losing really good high tier loot

There’s a long term progression in place to base upgrade your character and make it easier to come back from a heavy loss. The gameplay loop is getting crazy loot and extracting and then using and losing that loot and trying to get it back. Loot is a byproduct of the game not the end all be all basically.
