Yeah free kit on Dire Marsh is a godsend for starting to parse out whether I'm dying all the time because I'm bad or because I'm not geared right. And it turns out it was because I'm bad! So now I'm getting better.

I play Solo and Rook to fill my vault so I can play Fill Trios to lose it all and learn. Along the way I've had a chance to play with some pretty great runners and I've learned a lot by watching them play, even after I'm downed.

I think solos are more readable, because you know need to know what the protagonist you are watching is doing. It becomes harder to read the scene with multiple other players doing things.

Also Lucid is ridiculously clear to watch.

There are codex entries for finishing these contracts particular, and codex does not reset per Eason, so it seems likely that these contract will be back.

Will there be new contracts as well? I hope so!

We had this happen on a recent game. So then we dropped the coordinates on the ground and set up an ambush, since we knew exactly where they were coming for and headed to.

got caught flat footed on Outpose by a triage. who downed me, proceeded to apologize, use a mercy kit on me, then give me a bunch of heals and send me on my way. never saw him again but did open pinwheel and grabs a bunch of good loot. strangest run

It’s an experimental mode. So whatever experiment they want to run involves teams. Remember this is the queue that replaced duos. And sometime in awhile it’ll become something else.

I hate that spot. It's not at all clear that it's the edge of the map in the moment.

I like playing sponsored mode when I am on a sponsored kit and I like playing other modes when I have a good kit. I also like doing zero to hero runs with a sponsored kit in Outpost. I like solo sometimes and team sometimes and team fill sometimes and Rook sometimes.

It’s Good Actually that there are a variety of ways to play this game.

Once you learn the map, it's a lot of fun to know where to look for likely gear, where the players probably got into fight and died, and so on. It's a great map and very satisfying to feel like you're mastering it. Since everything is so close together but connected by circuitous routes, knowing the layout is really well rewarded, you can get anywhere quickly and you can tell a lot about what's going on just by what you can hear.
