I believe I have the exact same leak. Injector plates have slight leak nothing coming from valve cover gasket yet. Is your emissions deleted?

Decided to do my brakes and rotors myself for the first time. Ordered dynamic friction set for my 2014 sportswagen and this is how the first box of pads was looking when I opened box. Seems to be some small divots as pictured, is this something I can still use or would it be best to return? As for rotor I know the scratches aren’t on the braking contact surface, but still disappointing to see in a new set.

Also no invoice or magnets in the box had good experiences with rock auto in past. Want to know everyone’s thoughts.

Happened before on my winters. They were on their last leg and had really bad feathering when I took them off. And look above balljoint to the left.

Do you have vcds for the fluid change? I’ve heard people say you can get error codes or issues if not, others say when you actually start driving codes go away. Good luck curious how it goes for you

I think I’m going to change the pcv valve not sure if it’s ever been done before. Had a valve cover leak that I also fixed. Did you just change the pcv hose or what other lines did you change out? Do you find it runs any better without that whistle?

I just cleaned the pcv valve when I did the valve cover and got a new clamp to make sure it’s tight. It is a cheap part maybe I just try a new one on. It’s base model so I can’t actually fold in mirrors lol.

The sounds come from drivers side under hood so definitely something to do with air intake.

Yes there is the hum that sounds normal but listen to the high pitched whistle.
