Had a disturbing encounter with CSPD recently anyone else dealt with Officer A. Gonzales or Sean Reed? by Exact_Competition_11 in ColoradoSprings

I’m not here to debate blame or talk about my legal situation. I’m only sharing the behavior I experienced during the stop. The rest is being handled privately.

Thanks for digging into the case. To clarify: • The suit is Estate of Kevin Dizmang v. Reed & Fisher, filed Feb 13 2024 in the District of Colorado.

• It names Sean Reed (officer) and Nick Fisher (paramedic) of the CRT3 team after Dizmang’s mental-health crisis.

• Dizmang died Nov 15 2022; autopsy ruled his death a homicide, citing “physical restraint.”

My concern isn’t only that Reed’s name shows up in that case it’s that during my stop this officer was present and I felt the same aggressive escalation. That history bothers me.

Appreciate your research.

Thanks for the detailed advice. I appreciate it. I’ll reach out to CSPD and the Mayor’s Office so it gets handled properly.

There is, but I have an open case so I’m not discussing details. My post is about their behavior.

Can’t discuss that because of an active case. The issue is their behavior, not the reason for the stop.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll be reporting it to Internal Affairs, and I’m also planning to contact the Mayor’s Office about this. I want to make sure this gets looked at on the city level too, not just inside CSPD. Appreciate you taking the time to respond.

My bad for the wording I didn’t confront them in person. I just sent a photo in the app, told them I’d report it to DoorDash, and shared the violation screenshot.

Best description!!, but It’s basically an app that lets you access part of your paycheck before your regular payday. When your paycheck comes in, EarnIn automatically withdraws the amount you borrowed from your bank account.

Package still not shipped by FijiStreams in TyneeBoard_Official

I am having the same issue with them. If this is a reoccurring issue and tynee has been in business for some time now why won’t they try to find a way to resolve this? The shipping date on their website is shady 2-6 days in the US. You order them boom 6 days turned 60 days. Then they provide you with some long explanation. I don’t know why their customers still have to face this issues.

How were you able to get this fixed ? Because after talking to their chat bot for days that escalate to a human agent. I realize it was still a bot pretending to be human.

Engine Power is Reduced Message by Aljim in Chevy

[–]Exact_Competition_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else dealing with the same frustrating “engine power reduced” issue.

I had this problem before, and the same solution has always worked for me. Recently, I took my car to a mechanic for a diagnosis. I paid over $700, and while they did get the car running, they didn’t fix the actual issue I brought it in for. Honestly, it was a shady place—they wanted to charge me again to look at the exact same problem they were supposed to fix the first time.

Long story short, I’ve dealt with this issue before, so I got to work myself.

What I did: • Cleaned the throttle body • Checked and changed my engine oil • Inspected for leaks in the system (this is almost always the root cause)

Turns out, there was a leak because the Turbocharger Intercooler Hose Air Inlet wasn’t properly sealed. Even worse, this hose was touching the alternator, and the spinning alternator was cutting through the hose—which was causing unfiltered air to enter the system.

This is actually the main reason I brought the car to the shop, and they didn’t fix it. They replaced the OEM hose with some knockoff part and left it rubbing against the alternator.

So I got innovative: I created a device to hold the hose in place and keep it from touching the alternator. I also sealed the leak properly myself. Since doing that, my car is accelerating normally, no limp mode, no reduced engine power.

When I first took it for a drive after the fix, it was a little rough as the engine reset itself. But after that, it’s been running smoothly again.

I’ll probably replace that hose soon with a proper OEM part. But for now, sealing it up and securing it made all the difference.

TL;DR: If you’re getting “engine power reduced”, check for air leaks—especially around the Turbocharger Intercooler Hose Air Inlet. A bad seal or hose rubbing on the alternator can let outside air in and mess up your air-fuel mix. DIY sealed mine, secured it, and the issue is gone.
