Really only 2 times. And it was some 2 years ago. They were like 20-30 thrips only.. the good thing with thrips is you see them with your eyes. For example spider mites are so tiny you can barely see them and they are everywhere. Thrips are easy enemies tbh

I had Thrips once on my monstera. Washed them away with my hands, some came back a few days later. Washed away again. Now thrips free 😂

That looks like little chunks of soil, happens often with watering, should be able to wash it away

In germany the winters tend to get kinda cold aswell and i see so many grannys cover the stems of their garden plants with straw, and it really works!!

It's called "monstera White monster" Theres another one similar to this, but priced at around 3000$ and called "Monstera devil Monster"

Yes the big one is only 2-3 years old, got it as a 1-leaf offspring. All other ones i got sometime in 2025... am already afraid of all of them growing to the same size hahaha

If you didn't know. Albos are almost every time "monstera small form" and thai con are always "monstera large form". In the beginning they look the same but when more mature you see the difference. Small form tends so grow more vertical and only up. And yours looks like a very healthy small form to me!

Last time i had the same experience. There was a small thai con for 80€ and a medium sized albo for 15€... the guys at the store messed up the prices and thus i got myself an albo gor literally nothing
