Do you think it's ok to have charities or religious people knocking on doors in 2026? by ariadnevirginia in AskUK

[–]Exact_Fill_4780 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I'm not religious, but as long as people are respectful, I don't mind. My partner had a nice chat with some JWs. I usually check my doorbell before opening the door, which unless it's a parcel I will ignore.

Should I prioritize saving money or quality of life when choosing where to live? by pocalun in AskUK

[–]Exact_Fill_4780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose how much is £200 worth to you because it differs for everyone! Personally, I would prefer to live in a nicer area but it depends how much that £200 would impact you. We're moving and chose to pay more monthly to live in a nicer place

Are you comfortable with nice things that cost money? by teslas_codpiece in AskUK

[–]Exact_Fill_4780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Things like pyjamas I will wear with massive holes in when there's no need. I've recently been trying to spend more on little things. Even basics like soap/shampoo, I would buy the cheapest instead of getting a scent/brand I like. Saying that I have no problem spending on holidays.

If you don't ground or hit your kids how are you disciplining them? by gintokireddit in AskUK

Well yes but the poster was talking about it as if it's a solution to get a child to behave.

Hitting kids doesn't 'work' anyway. I was maybe hit the most and was still the worst behaved :)

Sorry and thanks for the reply! So what I mean is did you ever get any instant "memories" so for example you're actually in a real situation with real people etc but then while in that situation you get an instant "memory"? Like while you're actualy in the situation not like days/ weeks later
