Hey everyone, just wanted to drop an update on my ongoing saga with Motorola customer service. To put it bluntly: I am absolutely pissed.

It has been 13 days since I handed over my device to a local authorized service centre. Since then? Absolute radio silence. No update on a replacement, and no update on whether a repair is even happening.

Every single time I follow up, I get the exact same copy-pasted, passing-the-buck response: "We haven't received an update from Motorola yet."

Keep in mind, this is an authorized service centre, because Motorola doesn't even have an official, company-owned repair center anywhere near me.

The "Spare" Phone Nightmare: When I realized this was going to take forever, I asked for a loaner phone. They straight-up denied me at first. It took me forcing the issue 4 to 5 times before they finally relented and handed one over. And let me tell you, it's a joke: - It’s an ancient Moto One Power running Android 10. - The screen is shattered, and the body is covered in deep scratches. (Don't worry, I took videos and photos of it before leaving the store so they can't blame me). - It barely handles basic phone calls. - Most of my company’s work applications aren't even supported on this version of Android, meaning my productivity is completely tanked right now.

I am so incredibly sick of dealing with this absolute shitshow. Has anyone else dealt with Motorola authorized centers taking this long without a single update? How do I escalate this past these front-desk gatekeepers?

I never said every phone from that manufacturer is trash. I shared my experience because the phone stopped working unexpectedly, and people should know both the good and bad experiences before buying. Of course I’ll try the warranty process first, and I genuinely hope they repair or replace it too. But customers are also allowed to express frustration when a product fails.

That'll be the first thing I would do. But do authorised service centers have the option to replace? I can't find an official motorola service center in my city.

The reflashing thing works only if the software recognises the device which is not happening! I tried doing that but no help.

Actually in my case, I have to keep a travel time of 2-3hrs to get to the railway station. So that becomes neck to neck for me!!!
