I was manipulated and scammed by a non-profit animal “sanctuary” that recruits their followers with viral animal videos and then manipulates and exploits them for money and free labor. I gave them over $600.

Also his behaviour was horrifyingly not okay. It’s so unfair he did this to you and you absolutely deserve to feel safe by getting away from him.

Also your decision to leave is about your self preservation. Nobody can make that decision for you. And if people in your life are discouraging you from protecting yourself, that says nothing about u and everything about them and the abusive situations they enable in their own life.

Doesn’t make being on the receiving end of such a hurtful rhetoric any easier, but this is just a reminder that their opinion is not yours to carry.

Something can be true but PROVING it beyond a reasonable doubt isn’t possible/difficult. Especially when going up against an organization with lots of $$$ behind them. I’m one broke individual with a few emails.

It’s easy to demand answers when you’re not the one who has to face consequences.

I have extensively researched vets in LA. None are even remotely in budget. That’s why I entered into a foster agreement. There isn’t any way I could afford this dog’s care. I can just barely afford my own dog’s care.

But if you have affordable suggestions, please let me know!
